This is super cool and fun to hear! I like the synthesis quite a bit!
I remember the times of having only an old soundblaster to work with for recording. It worked, but was also really frustrating at times. This song would be even more fabulous with the s/n ratio and dynamics that would come from a dedicated interface. That said, you've done excellent work with what you have at your disposal!
These instruments seem to compliment each other well. Fun tones, which do sound quite vintage. It almost reminds me of Joy Division or something, without the vocals.
Hey mate thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated !
I have a decent interface now but still need to get the right setup. Was a bit tired of turning virtual knobs, clicking and pointing so I decided to go hardware. Lots of fun and more intuitive.
nice mellow ambient track just to forget everything, to free mind and relax! )
it seems the track is too quiet for me, or maybe you wanted that way, anyway, great job!
Respect!
Thanks for the comments !
Yes it's very quiet, I'll try to boost the volume a bit but I don't have the correct setup a the moment. For now I'm stuck with my noisy, inboard laptop soundcard to record !
Cheers !
agree, damn trippy... also sounds closer to techno then house, at least IMHO.
like it, however I would have wished that it went a tidbit more crazy here and there with maybe some more screaming tones or some wild panning here and there, but that could just be my liking for the more in-your-face stuff speaking, so take it with a grain of salt.
anyways, neat track, man.
Realized I had heard the paper ripping thing here before using it a couple years later in my track "Charly". So I'm sorry about ripping you off, not my intention. I knew you were an influence on me though. If it makes you feel better, I'm going to include your work on my show on loopradio.
That is amazing atmospeheric track my friend.
I could tell which genre is that. Its dark minimal techno with elements industrial and idm. just take it simple for sure its dark techno)
i love the effects, very active-listen kinda track, so much to follow and hear
this is a very unique track, and your use of offtime is absolutely perfect
i really dig this one
A very unusual and atmospheric tech track! I like it much! Reminds me of when I used to listen to a lot of DJ sets. Nice style of rhythms on this one too! I enjoyed listening!
Thanks a lot for your time listening to this weirdness. I really wanted to let the creativity go freely on this one, and it was fun. I still want to make some slight modifications though, a few parts don't seem right to me.
very different intro...almost sounds like water in the stream running over rocks...then you hit all that sound fx stuff....I have to admit ALXIX that that the genre is not of my frequent listening list...but I also must say that my habit of checking out the music of fellow artists who leave any comments on my own noises seldom fails to produce some really interesting/creative listening...and no doubt that this is some creative thinking...and it helps me stretch the imagination a bit on different possibilities....well done....all the best to you.....Ed
Thank you Ed for your listen and comments, really appreciated esp. from someone not into that kind of music!
It was really fun experimenting with all those fx, I wanted to know how far I could go that way.
Glad it helped you broaden the imagination on creativity!
Awesome one. Length isn't a problem at all for me here. It never seems repetitive, but rather keeps me in this suspenseful state of mind, and yes the intro is fantastic. Like it much!
