I write music for stories. My goal is the atmosphere that blends well with my text and does not distract the reader, yet makes him/her connect on a deeper level.
I'm not a pro,
I have no knowledge of chords,
I can't read sheet music,
I won't understand you talking musical terminology to me.
None. Also, I don't sing (I could, but not any more).

All time favourites: Archenemy's Doomsday Machine (2005), The Waterworld OST, Wagner's the Flying Dutchman Opera and Vangelis' Mythodea (Music for the NASA mission 2001: Mars Odyssey).
Other favourites include melodic death metal in general, classics like Tomaso Albinoni, various operas (which I usually listen to live), movie scores and cinematic music (e.g. Two Steps From Hell), new age music like Ah Nee Mah and some ethnic tunes. Anything else I find appealing. :)
