Well, I don't listen to this type of music often, but it sounded pretty fast and cool. I can't imagine playing drums or guitar that fast. But, I have seen it in videos.
Hello six,
Ahhhhh, a nice orchestra sound. I liked it a lot and it would be great for a movie background I believe.
I have many settings on my Korg Karma keyboard for Orchestra and I suppose I should explore them.
I am glad I checked this song out as it is very relaxing to me today.
Thanks for sharing it with us all,
Randy
Hi Blair,
Getting around catch up on some listening to tracks here today.
I like this song you did here. I liked the words and could hear them clearly and sounds heartfelt. I think a little less reverb would bring the guitar and voice to the front more in the mix.
You have a good voice too!
Thanks for listening. Thanks for the vote of confidance on my voice. I'm just learning this software and mixing. eventually everything except "Out in the Storm" will be redone.
Hello Tyler,
Interesting piece of music you have made here. I almost thought I was watching a Mad Max movie. Ha!
Sounds like it could be used for a movie background in a sci-fi type.
Good job,
Randy
Hi ya Planet,
This is one of your little older songs, but I liked it a lot as it has a nice relaxing feel to it. I have never tried any Fusion stuff yet.
I have all the tools for it, just that I am into country/rock more at the moment.
Anyways, nice job you did here in arranging it all.
Randy
Hi djshade,
I liked your song here. The vocals came out well. Sounds like you have a nice voice. The music was good and fit well altogether. I'll have to try and get some vocals in my tunes sometime.
Randy
Hello 'Live_Project',
I liked your song a lot. I like a lot of bass and drums myself and they stand out well in the mix. I like the guitar sounds too.
The singing was very good and clear. Sounds like you got it all together there.
Hello Killtone,
This is the first time I have reviewed one of your songs. I happened to catch it as a 'featured track' and thank goodness for that.
I like the song a lot, and I liked the music instruments chosen.
Your voice is nice too. I have Reason, but never use it as it came with my Pro Tools I use.
The drums sound 'live' as I always like that rather than the canned synth type drums which remind me of the Energizer bunny! :-).
So I think you suceeded in making your song sound live. I do the same as much as I can. Sometimes it sounds like your right there in the room.
Good Job.
Oh...as for 'Mastering', a fellow here in my hometown does Mastering for approx. $20 a song. He has his own large old Heath -Allen analog console for recording live bands, and doesn't care for digital that much still, but uses it for mastering. So you might want to check around in your area and just see what it would cost if you want to go that route.
If you do it, ask them excatly how, and what they had to do and maybe you can learn from that, and do it yourself next time. See if you can stay in the studio and watch them! Usually takes 1/2 to 1 hour at most.
I believe here, he uses Sound Forges' audio analysers tools?
Randy
Quite a name there! I haven't listened to all that much Trance type or Techno music I'll admit, but what I have listened to, this is quite different than I have heard before. I think it sounded pertty cool, but I'd like to hear more variety in it. Perhaps when your partner adds their part, it will change a lot more?
Thanks for uploading it,
Randy
Greets,
The SN was a joke on top of a joke. First part I added and the second was inspired by something I read on a track review on here. As for the other, he did add some stuff and it's up now on here if ya wanna check it out. Thanks, L&R!
Hi ya Lisa,
Been awhile since I have listened to anything of yours. Since this one popped up as a featured track, it caught my attention right away, even tho it was from March that it was originally posted.
As usual, you have the nicest voice in this tune and that Bonnie Raite song I listened to before. I think anything you sing will turn out just great. You need a recording contract!
Anyway, hope things are ok with you overall and am looking forward to more of your singing/songs.
Randy
Thanks Randall, I appreciate you taking the time to listen :) I've finally been getting back at my music so who knows what I may come up with! Thanks again :)
I live near Bufflao, NY in a small community called 'Lockport'.
Here we have only one real recording studio that is professionally built. So that is why in my previous review to you, I said each song to be "Mastered" cost only $20 each. A bigger city/country, or studio, probably much more.
One good way to check your tunes out, is when your finished with it, put it on CD and play it on your home stereo, in your car, on your friends stereo, and with and without headphones, as most often when you create something, it will sound a lot different when taken out of your own 'personal environment/studio', and you may not be pleased with the sound at all.
Many artist are disappointed that they don't hear what they were hearing before when they were first making the tune... So then you have to go back and re-tweak the sound. (Trial & error)
Often...since I love the bass & drums sounds, I tend to put in a little extra in my songs, but when I play it back in my car or on my other stereo, it is often too boomy or too loud...so then I have to go back and re-adjust the track it's on....and try it again. This may take a few CD's just one for song only, but they are cheap these days.
I do all this for each and every song I do, as if I am gonna place a song on the Internet for my friends/family to hear, I want it to be the best I can do, whether they personally like that particular tune or not......my name is on it!
If you click on my icon for this message, it will take you to my profile and you can see/read what all I do.
Thanks for writing back and hope my info may help you some.
Randy
Hello there Vaetle,
Well, I am not an expert on Trance music or Techno myself, but the song was interesting as I have listened to only a few in my life.
The kick drum was a little overpoweering and it was the same beat throughout with no drum rolls or breaks, like in a regular song. But maybe that's the way Trance is. I'll have to listen to some here at home.
If your making an album or CD, make sure you have it 'Mastered' in a regular type recording studio. They will set all your songs to an equal volume level, and can add EQ and some effects to enhance the song(s). You don't want your listeners having to change the volume up and down for each song.
The studio won't be able to change anything within the song, just the whole file (song) itself. Here where I live, a small studio charges $20 for one song, and they spend 1/2 to 1 hour on each one.
So it is good to have a different set of ears (A professional) listening to your song to make it sound its best before releasing it to the general public for sale.
Thanks for uploading,
Randy
Hi there BigAl808,
I don't listen to much Rap or Hip Hop as it is not my favorite type of music. My daughter loves it tho! Your family song here was good though and I did liked it. Rap songs are usually so long that I could never remember the words to any of them.
They all tell a story whether a real life story or made up, they are unique...and yours was one of them.
I see you use an Korg M-3. I am thinking about upgrading as I have the Korg Karma now.
Thanks for sharing your song here.
Randy
Hello Darkos,
Just listened to your tune. It had an interesting sound I thought, but it seemed like it was the same pattern over and over. I'll give a listen to some of your other songs and see what's different. :-)
Thanks for sharing it,
Randy
Hi djsalkizar,
Very nice tune here! I rarely listen to Trance style music myself, but I like this song. The vocal part does make the song and the solid steady beat would make a person want to dance.
You know I have a Korg Karma keyboard and I ordered a Trance card just after I got it, and it has hundreds of Trance style music beats on it. I messed with it a few times, but I think I should revist it again and see what I can find interesting after listening to your song.
Thanks for uploading it
Randy
thanks very much for the review!!! Glad you liked it even tho you dont really listen to this type of music much!! As i said I love your slide playing. I do play a bit myself but I am not good enough to put anything on here!! I'll stick to my dance musci for now!! LOL!
Hello SEROKSATY,
I like this song you did here. Nice guitar work and overall sound. I know what you mean about vocals. My songs lack them too and its hard doing an instrumental and keep it interesting throughout. You don't have anything to worry about in this song tho. :-)
Thanks for uploading it.
Randy
Hi ya Rockman,
Just listened to your rock song. I liked it a lot. Nice guitar sound. Liked the extensive use of the Wah-wah pedal sound too.
For what it's worth, I own one of the original VOX Wah pedals from the 60's still. Maybe I should get it back out...or just add it in with the computer. Anyways, I'll get around to listen to your other songs as well shortly. I have only done 1 rock song so far myself.
Randy
Hi Slap,
Great sounding 'Horns', and the Bass was very good as well. Sounds like a tune for a movie or something like that. Very smooth and a great job well done by you both.
Randy
Hi Six...
Overall, I thought the song sounded pretty good, but I'd like to hear the guitar up front more and stand out. Everytime time I get a song done, I then play it on different speaker systems to see if it will hold up. Many times I find the Bass too boomy and have to go back in and change the EQ or whatever.
Your bass sounded fine and the drums of course. Maybe more variety in the lead?
Anyways, I am about done now with my next 3 part Blues song and hope you'll give it a listen and see what I mean about the lead guitar standing out front more, etc.
Good job on your song overall.
Randy
Hello there EVRiMBee,
Just got done listening to your song here. It was different than anything I have ever heard before! Everything was just right. The vocal part was very good. I can tell it must have taken a long time putting it together.
I feel bad that sometimes I can't produce a song a month.
Thanks for uploading it.
Randy
Hi Art,
Thanks for uploading your song here. I like the song overall. Solid rhythm background and bass. Just a simple melody line makes it all fit well together.
Randy
Randall, I may be your biggest fan. I just hope your job at the power plant allows you to upload more tracts. But I can be patient for the good stuff.
Art
Hi Steve,
Interesting take on the song you have there. I like it a lot. Never heard any songs of old nursery rhymes like that I can think of.
Thanks for sharing it.

Hello Blair,
Thanks for steering me to this song. With over 6600 tracks on here, I can't get to them all. So I tend to just listen to the most recent ones since I am fairly new here. :-)
I like this song very much. The mix was professional and the reverb came out just right for the drums, etc.
You have a good voice too....so all the elements are there for a hit. Just a matter of getting enough people to listen to it out in the world.
I can't compare it to any other songs I have heard like some others can. There was a time period of years really I didn't listen or play much music at all because of working so much.
I'll checkout some more of your work. :)))))
Thanks for posting it.
Randy
Thanks for listening and I'm glad you liked it.
recorded in a studio and hope to get some more stuff professionally done soon too. Again thanks for the kind words.

Hi Slap,
Great song here. Everthing was good about it. Wish I could sing tho as it's harder doing instrumentals and keeping a song interesting. It is great that you can play several instruments as well, so you can add in variety to a song.
Thanks for the upload, and keep making more...!
Randy
Hi there Whitesands,
I saw where you reviewed some songs of mine and want to review some of yours as well. There are so many artist/songs on here, it is impossible to get to them all except the latest ones.
I haven't done any Trance type music yet myself, but have a lot of ideas. I like this song you did here in particular. Had a nice even flow to it and wasn't boring at all as the scene kept changing. Creating good attention grabbing music isn't easy.
Thanks for posting it. I'll check out some more of your songs as well. I am nearly done with another Blues type tune. Mine aren't exactly the type you'll hear on the radio though. :)
