Hello graciela,
Looks like I played this track before back in Nov. but I didn't leave a review I guess. sometimes the computer hangs up.

Nice quiet type of tune and I enjoyed listening to it.
You have a good voice as well.
Guess I have never listened to 'electronic' before and I am still not sure what it is....other than thinking it is all synth only, but your tune sounded really nice.

Hi there Seroksaty,
Looks like I'll be your first reviewer and I appreciate your review of my Punk rock tune the other day.

Overall, it sounds good to me. I think the kick drum could be louder to add in more punch. If you can get a decent set of headphones, that could help you in sound levels of each instruments. Cheap headphones won't do it tho....as they'll be very little bass. I use Sennheiser HD 280 Pros.

Don't know what else to recommend at the moment, but sounds like your doing good to me.

Hi Randall,
I have troubles with kick drum and bass, i`m trying to fix it, but... on my speakers sounds OK.
Decent headphones could be a solution, i`ll check those you recommended...
Thanks for help...

on follow the sunset by rei4real
Hello there Rei,
My turn to give a review back to you for you giving me one the other day.

So, this sounds like a nice song for a movie in the ending credits section. Has nice overall sound, nice guitar playing.

Don't think I can say anything different than what was said already. You get lots more reviews than I do. :-).
Anyways, a great song and I like it and that's all that matters.
Like you said "just about perfect"

on Lance Johnson the Surfer by Planetjazzbass
Hi Planet,
Getting around to review one of your tracks as you recenty did one of mine..
Has sort of a surfing sound to the guitar part. (I learned guitar by copying 'The Ventures' songs).

Has a steady heavy beat with the bass as background and enough reverb to make it sound like in a club setting being played.
Just overall a good tune with voiceover makes it special.
Nice job Dave,
Randy

Hey Randy...this was just a quick tongue in cheek tune..If I was to do real surfing background music for a surf flick I think I'd have to go the 'New Wave' route!...cheers mate

Hi there DJ,
Getting around to review one of your latest tunes as you did mine recently.
Interesting beginning. Then nice cool steady beat with some synth.
Mixed in with swirling motion...feels like I am taking a ride someplace. Everything fit together well. Can't say it is my type of music, but still enjoyable to listen to something different.
Thanks for uploading and sharing DJ,

on 5 Card Tom by Love Buck-it by bosonHavoc
Hi Boson,
Just getting to review one of your tracks since you just did one of mine.
I picked this song as I like to hear what live bands do.
Sounds pretty good to me. Sounds like a female singer in the background? Just a little hard to hear the vocals so I couldn't really hear the words. Sounds like a tune that might go over on a Goth type bar.
My daughter is a DJ in one and doesn't want me to go there. Ha Ha probably cause I wouldn't enjoy it and she wants to spare me the agony.

Anyways, great to hear a live sound,
Randy

on Punk Rawk Chick by PaulFranke
Hi Paul,

Saw you as a featured and so I decided to right then check out your tune..
Pretty good for using a loop. Just a little bit of timing issues, but still overall nicely put together. Your singing is decent too.
I have a few punk-rock type tune loops that I bought. Sometime soon here I'll make them into something and maybe you can add in vocals to them if you'd like to.

Nice job Paul,
Randy

Hey Randy,
thanks for the input. I only use garage band on my Mac so timing is sometimes hard to fix. I have been working on some new vocals to go along with tracks I downloaded from this site. If you write any kind of song I'm down to write some lyrics and do the vocals. just let me know.

on Call Me Happy by rei4real
Hi Rei,
Another great tune. I like pop songs too. I don't make them as they usually sound better with vocals and I don't sing. Do you sing at all?

You put this one together very well. Would fit good into a movie theme I think. Too bad you don't know someone in that field you could get to listen to it. The only place I know of is a web site called 'Taxi'.

They get people jobs all the time in TV, Jingles, Comercials Movies, HBO TV etc.
But I suspect you'll spend $10,000 in different fees as time goes by while waiting. I read that from them in a Modern Recording mag. article.

Anyways, good job well done with this tune as well. I wish you all the best.

on Let It Go by rei4real
Hi there rei4real,
Looks like you haven't been on in a month. Everything ok over there?
Haven't listened to any of your tunes in a whle so I am making the rounds.
You did a nice job on this tune. I am at work so I only have tiny computer speakers to judge by. Everything fits together well.

As far as mistakes, I don't know of anyone that doesn't make them. On their CD or whatever, the mistakes they might have made are edited out usually so you don't hear any.

Afterall, no one is perfect. Playing live you can make many small ones and most won't notice anyway. Playing in a studio, it can be done over and over till no mistakes are heard....note by note editing with software.
Glaring mistakes are different than tiny slip-ups in my book. Most musicians are perfectionist and hate to make mistakes...like me.

Anyways, your playing skills are very good. I often play with a combination of my own playing and loops. I can't play all instruments...like drums. I get mine from Betamonkeymusic.com. Very natural sounding drums.
Thanks for uploading,
Randy

Hi Acrylic,
Thought I'd stop by and see what you were up to.
I'd have to say, this was very interesting indeed. I don't think I could make anything like that myself. It wouldn't even entered into my mind, as I am an old guy and am into tradition music more.

But what you did here has a certain audience and I am sure it will be enjoyed by many.
You put a lot of stuff together and lots of cool effects, so it was an interesting tune for me!
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Butcher,
Thought I'd pick your latest and give it a test drive.
Right off, I like the nice deep Bass sound. Then it sounds sort of oriental to me. :-)

Very nice and relaxing overall. I like it. You did a nice job with the loops and a good choice of them.

yer, once i heard the loops i knew immediately what sounds i had to make to create the chillout relaxing atmosphere. it was just a simple case of sequencing some piano, strings, pads, bass and a few other sounds and it was all done :)

cheers randy, an i will be checking that tune you mentioned soon, but right now the surf is up, and i need to get out there ;)

Hi Looperman,
Finally getting to listen to one of your tracks here....it popped up in the 'featured window'. I see its been on here awhile with over 1470 plays. :)

Well, the guitar playing fits the tune perfectly and you did a nice job there. Nice clean sound.
The vocalist....he is good too. Wish I could sing, I might go farther. The odds of an instrumentalist making a top 10 chart are probably more than 1 in a million!

Again, I like this song and I thank you for posting it.

Hello Ruben,

Interesting track you have here. I can hear the western theme in the tune. It would have been nice to add drums into it and maybe some more varied lead.

It is cool to try different type of songs as I do myself.
My next uploaded song will be pure country and cajun music if your interested in western or hillbilly. :)
Thanks for the well wishes too for me being chosen on Talent Trove as artist of the day. You could say a person has 15 minutes of fame....but in this case, I'll have a full 24 hours of 'fame', and I didn't even put in a request to be featured. There are too many artist a lot better than me.

Anyways, you did fine with this song except for what I suggested about adding in some drums.

on sheshe by Seroksaty
Hi there Seroksaty,
Well, as promised yesterday I would review one of your songs today. :-).
Before reading any of the other nice reviews, I listened to the song and thought the guitar playing was very good. I would say the bass could come up more and the snare down a little.

I would suggest playing the song on several different types of speaker systems to see what it sounds like on them and go for the middle one before uploading it. (In other words, you may have to adjust some parameters before you 'release it'.

Most people will hear a tune right from their computer, and thus computer speakers systems are usually lacking a lot of fullness...esp bass.
So I hope this helps and it would also help if you get another pair of ears to listen to you tune as well to see what they think too.

Good job though!

Hi there Rei,
I am up Sunday morning and wanted to check out a few tracks, and saw this one here of yours from Sept.

I'd say 1st class all the way! Everything is good about it. Everything fits well. Everything is clear and clean, and your guitar playing is super as usual.

Ever heard a electric violin play with distortion turned on?
Maybe not, but it sounds awesome!!
After my country song is done, I will make a rock tune with that in it.

Anyways, good to hear you with this song. Always a pleasure listening to your music.

Hi DJ,

Nice dance track you made.
I like the voice part too. I don't sing myself but wish I could. I make only instrumentals myself.
'Canadian Pride' is my latest rock type song if you interested in listening to it. But It is not in the same company as this song is.

Keep up the good work,

Hi Gerard,
Hadn't listened to this tune before. The voice experiment came out very well I thought...giving that deep voice.
The rest of the song was pretty good as well overall I thought.

Would like to get a copy of your CD someday as well.
Thanks for steering me here.

Lots of rock and roll in there.
I guess the Jazz part would be better in a song of its own. But for showing off different styles, its fine. I do similar things with my music.

Hello there RashidKhan,

It's cool to hear music from different countries. This tune sounds very nice with an excellent background. So added vocals would be a big plus as others have already mentioned.

I know the last song I posted was too short and is screaming for vocals...so I am working on that. Wish I could sing myself. :-(

Thanks for uploading,

Hi Planet,
Decided to give one of your older songs a try.
I liked this here. Had a nice spacey sound to it. Somewhat dreamy.
Couldn't hear all the words all that well, but thats ok as thats the way Marlon talks.
Nice effect. Has somewhat of a jazz feel to it as well.
Good song!

on Sacred by alkie
Hi there Alkie,
Looks like you got a good start on this song. I wouldn't mind trying to do something with it, but I am really busy now trying to catch up with 2 other artist that wanted me to help them out.

Plus the last song I did, A lady in your city wants to try and do vocals for that too...so I am re-arranging that one.
I hope you can find someone to put vocals in it. Just some re-arranging would do...but have to get with a vocalist and see how they want it and where to make breaks, etc.

on Tomb of Kings by Scottmusic
Hi there Scott,
Getting around to review a song of yours here. I chose this one as I like rock music as well.
I liked the acoustic ring to the guitar. Stands out very well. Even tho the song was short, it was very nice. I am accused of making short song as well. But making instrumentals requires a lot more thought to come up with, without making the song boring.

Tha harmonies worked out nicely too. I haven't done too much with doing harmony parts altho I have all the 'tools to do it with.
Thanks for uploading it,
