This is really cool guys...definitely one for the Summer..spent on a drink with your mates with a beer or some cocktails just chilling out...I'm actually left with not much else to say...anything I say is an understatement...

< < Favourited > > (Would download but have suddenly just realised that Looperman tracks have unexpectedly filled up my HD to the brim...let me go delete something...)

you nailed this one on the head by calling it "summer day jazz". it's great! it has blue skies/cool breeze written all over it!

Hi Slap,
Great sounding 'Horns', and the Bass was very good as well. Sounds like a tune for a movie or something like that. Very smooth and a great job well done by you both.

Wow man!...you walking Orchestra you....lets count em, 1.Soprano Sax 2.Clarinet 3.Guitar 4.Baritone Sax 5.Flute...all played beautifully.....I've met multi instrumentalist's before but usually they play one instrument well and dabble in the rest....When talent was being handed out you got enough for 5 people....I am constantly floored by what you do........saying it was a privilege playing with you is an understatement.......cheers planet(one of your many fans here at looperman)

Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.

Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...
