on RIO EXPRESS by zappo
hi again,

I really like this version - I had a chance to listen to the fixed 'Rio Express Mastered' the other day and thought it was very nice too. I do not know how much this one is different (this is 3rd version I guess?) from that previous version but anyway it sounds very cool. Nice collab with PJB.

greetings from Poland,

A.

on A Soldiers Discovery by BradoSanz
hi Epic.

I USED HEAPHONES this time anyway.

The beginning of your track reminded me of 'Saving Provate Ryan' kind of thing. Some other sounds are really in the style of phatkatz, that piano is pure commertial (emotional?) TV stuff but overall this is some really good effort. Nice to hear something different from you.
Good track.

Best to you,

Well, I suppose I meant "emotional" in that the piano would at least make the listener think about the effects of war :P Glad you stopped in promenade!

on Waiting for the Sun by Darkreine
hi

this is some very cool production. never really had a chance to listen to your stuff on here before as you seem to be less frequent these days. This song definitely reminded me of some songs from VickyDan.

This is so different from what I do at the moment, it's very mainstream and so adult pop uplifting sounding but I can really appreciate that. Cool guitar additions - tastefully placed and nicely blended with electric piano. I am truly impressed. I am a fan.

on The Wang Of Disdain by Evisma
hey!

I had a chance to listen to the 2 min one a few days ago and found it really interesting. Not too much to say this time cause I can only use the internal laptop speakers now.

It's quite hot mixed when compared to that first sketch.
I really like your bass playing on this one!

Keep at it!

Hey! Glad you liked what it used to be. I'll try to make it better for it's future self's self esteem.

It is pretty loud and I need to bring it down, you are right. I need to fix the mixing on this one.

I appreciate you liking the bass playing. I care most about that, really.

Take care.

on In a Maze by Joshuamaybe
hi. I do not find your track calm/dark at all. Maybe because of the use of loud electronic sounds. Samples? Programmed vst synths I guess. Anyway this is just a modern sounding electronic, not really my preffered style. This is not very complex music but it is still nice and well produced. Definitely designed for a modern type of listener.

hey. this is some very fine project. I really liked that first section with female vox. it's a bit hot mixed or simply too close recorded for my taste but it is still very cool. interesting beat and very funky bassline. nice. the second part is not that good for me and it is actually going nowhere but that's still only my personal prefferences...
nice work! keep up the production.

on Air swels by Scyphozoa
hey. I am here because it was pointed on the thread recommending 'not featured' tracks. vocals in te background reminded me of some tracks from RenzWilde, just some Kreaftwerk-styled modern stuff.

Good electronic but I do not really like the mix. It seems like there's too much processing. I noticed many people are actually overusing effects here in order to create something unique but stylish. I would preffer listening to this one without any reverbs. It's still just a personal prefference.
Nice work anyway! Best, Alex

Thx

The mix was live not a software building
I'm now working on a building structure

Sometimes i use too much effects I know but i like it...
and i have to keep it under control

I like kraftwork style but
for making combine different styles and create something unique is my goal...

many greetings

on Bang Bang Ft Yr Mom --Mini Mix-- by SHWAK
thanks for the concern. everything is fine, no worries

your track is sounding very eastern in a way. just wondering it might be just a temporary tendency in mainstream music, or whatever you want. I love eastern sounds. I do not listen to radio delivered mainstream songs too much these days but noticed you seem really operate on the top of that which is a good thing (seemingly). My only criticism would be that you can always try use sampled female shouts (vocals/ acapellas?) at some point in the future. There's really no shortcuts when comes to creating something really good. Also why don't you learn how to tune your drums to make them sound even more original/corresponding? I say that because your acutual drum set presents that very annoying instrumental hiphop quality of this site. At least for me.
Be like no other (and try to make a bit longer replies than the actual comment you get sometime). Do not paste spam graphics anymore.

GO NPR!! & Yep, still need to figure drum tuning with garageband, but it's probably pretty simple. Got a good idea for the track while reading your comment, so thanks! I'll try to refrain from the funny spam graphics :)

on Straight Ahead by OceanOfSound
hey this is actually a really good track. I would preffer to have a better balance of the instruments in the mix. Layering so many guitars makes this composition sound quite unclear, especially in the middle frequency range. But that may be also a problem of the arrangement itself, I do not know...

Other than very nice effort! Alex
