decent. i like how well this track transitions between beats, its like a story. like the buildup 2 of course, i didnt see the drop at 3.05 coming. then again i do have poor vision

nice cuts, like the tempo of the drums with the slow ominous vocals, its a good combo. could probly use a sly synth in there somewhere but it sounds good anyway.

Hey man i like this track, doesnt really sound like its missing anything to me, just sounds kinda laid back. the intro makes me think of a snake winding thru the grass if that helps to inspire a title, but im a bit of a weirdo so dont take my opinion 2 seriously.

Sounds pretty phat to me, the variation on the bass at the end was spot on, if i had to suggest an improvement id say maybe put some kind of automation on the bass throughout the song to make it a little more dynamic, maybe a slight phaser or something. Not much of an improvement really just might add a cool effect. Good to see more dnb making its way on here. Keep it up.

on Hope found ...(Working Title) by Gsusfrk
yeah man i agree about the melodies, i like the drums and the pace but the melodies sound a bit cheesy if you know what i mean, i dunno how to explain, but i think less of a 'plucked' sound would be better. dont get me wrong it sounds good, youre probably your own biggest critic, but if your going to change it i think all it really needs is a rework of the melodies.

you do a good job of building the atmosphere during this, i have to agree with Barry "Chill, yet a little ominous", says it all really. i like the drums, especially when the snare comes in halfway thru, im sorry but i really have nothing critical to say about this track. i guess that must be a good thing, nice work.

yeah I have noticed the chill yet ominous theme seems to run through all of my slower tracks, I kinda like it. Thanks for the kind words! I am working on the flilv collab right now.

sounding good bro, wouldn't mind hearing some kind of high-end background melody at 1.30 and again at 2.00, but i guess that wouldn't really be your style, will still sound dope once it's mastered tho, good shit.

I took your suggestion and started playing around with a melody, but nothing has worked yet. But I agree the track kinda needs something... hmmm. Thanks for the listen and review bro!

i dont know what separation and imaging are but whatever you were practising here turned out well. i didnt mind the synth bass at all i think it sounds good wen it comes in, maybe youve changed it since some of the reviews. overall not really my cup of tunes to be honest (the genre i mean) but i enjoyed it, ill be whistling the tune at 2:12 all day.

cool bro i like the effect on the end of your synth, the track reminds me of resonant evil or misanthrop in some respects. just listening on computer speakers at the mo ill run it thru my sub when i get home.

you just get better and better. don't worry too much about travis he's the eternal critic. but i agree with visionz about the track sounding a little boxy, he's told me the same thing, but that's only minor.
gud shit bro, keepm comin

Thanks!!! BTW how are things in oz? Thanks for turning me on to spor and ewun! I think I see what you guys are saying about it being boxy, there are no real high highs or low lows. Like it needs a frequency expansion. Any ideas? Thanks bro!

this is good man, kinda agree with djen on some things but it didnt sound half bad as it is. might need a little more mastering, might just be my speakers. dunno anything about kristal but as with anything the more you do the better your tracks will sound. that said this is a decent start and a good building block for your next tracks. keep on it (whatever it is youre on)

i apperciate bothcomments so far. the track does NOT sound good on my laptop, and it DOES sound great on any other sound systems, but it is a really uneven mix. i noticed when i was dragging one loop into place i accidentally turned that one loop up. i'll do some polishing with ya'lls comments in mind, but it was just a way to learn how to do the very basic things you can do...

gawd, i LOVE this site.

thats cool man... i see what u mean about the lead, sounded alrite anyway tho, i guess u explained it the best in your description.
i would recommend getting the full version of fl if u can, it would have been cool if u had been able to save this and make it a bit longer maybe (or at least it gives u more time to work on tracks), it can be quite versatile as long as ur prepared to put up with some tedious tweaking.
anyway, keep it up ur onto an interesting sound

it does sound like you were mixing this track as you were making it , or to put it another way if i was djing right now i wouldnt be able to mix this, but i would leave it like this, sounds like a minimix of sorts. real original stuff 2 i hope u sound like this wen u ARE on the decks. ha

So you think it needs to be two songs instead of one? I was trying to make it draw you in with the first part, and then throw it in your face at the end, but I think you are right, it needs to flow more between the sections.. Any suggestions?
