Hey mate,
The synth treatment where I am now (@around 3:20) really does the name justice. So do the Guitar stuff ya had too.
Normally when I see that name I think of a bunch of angry Bess, but in this case it could be a number of things.
A Bird's Eye view of a ground battle.
A bunch of people running to escape a tidal wave.
And the length is really fitting for D&B...

Okies, play two= The drums at first kinda remind me of retro synth pop type of stuff. And the way you've got the synth and the percs interacting is choice.
Though again, I'd love to hear the Bass accentuated more (possibly even solo'd,).

To everyone else- yall really should listen to this with a subwoofer to do it any justice!

Thanks for sharing. Later on!

Play 2= Just let it roll through the first time reg. Kinda like giving it the once over before I'd say anything.

Okies, so here we go... I too am diggin the drum treatment on this and the synths on this are nice n gritty. Though I'm thinkin the bass needs to be pumped up a bit coz they kinda take a backseat to the other two (unless that's what you were goin for, if so, nevamind).
Did ya have anyone or anything in mind when ya made this? Just curious is all.
Anyways, this one would be interesting to see how it would flow if it were placed in a mix session. There's a few things the DJ could play off of. Later on!

Heh its a fun track actually, well produced and whatnot. But i have to say i think the drop could do with some work, i mean if it was in a club there isnt a whole lot of dancing space.

But nice sounds all the same :)

sketch replied Unknown
yeah i no what u mean, i kan never seem to get the drops just how i picture them :P

never really got into drum and bass but this track made me glad that i branched out. sounds like a car commercial or n energetic movie chase or a fight scene lol. i love the things goin on in this track. i like the beepy and glitchy type sounds. i also love the melodies you got going on in it. they sound like something that i would do. matter of fact at one point in the track the progression did sound like a track that i did. you mixed the shit out of it too bro. all around good work

wow reminded me of classical music on many levels, good stuff love the drop outs in the syths, gloomy and robotic overall reminds me of my brain activity when trippin, i could definatly trip to this shit, best drum n bass techno ive heard since techno bass crew back in the 90s including listening to digitally imported on the reg, there shits to soft, this shit is heavy!

Bass drums sound great with the subs! What decible settings are you using for the kick drums?
sketch
sketch replied Unknown
they peak at around -10dB that was as far as i dared to push it, as i said i dont have any speakers so i had to kinda guess the low end, borrowed a sub and tweaked it a bit afterwards, not the most enjoyable way to produce :P

Im just now really hearing drum and bass music and different genres like glitch and what not. Im really liking it. Kinda reminds me of stuff that NIN would do, just more synth. Im going to have to play this in the morning when I can turn the subs on. From what Im hearing the headphones this sound like it would rock my house nicely and prolly scare the shit outta my dogs. Cant wait. I like this track, overall it stays going and never got boring sounds pretty pro to me on the mix end great work! This also kinda reminds me of some of the stuff off of the Lost Highway soundtrack. I play guitar mabey you would want to collab on some industrial/ drum n bass type stuff. If intrested let me know!

sketch replied Unknown
hey thanks man, yeah theres alot of bass in there so watch out. glad you liked it tho, ill give your tracks a listen in the morning cos im falling asleep at the mo, cheers for the pos feedback brother

real creepy man, but loving the bass :)
beginning i got lost but it made it through the middle and ending
very choppy beat and somewhat "noisy" if you know what i mean
the ends a bit repetitive but all in all its a great track
keep going the different way and someone will pick you up :)

Yes, I know this is my second review of this track. I have one more recommendation tho. For the intro, along with the band-pass envelope, I thought it would sound good with an additional phaser or flanger effect.

hey, thanks for the reviews bro. would like to try out your suggestions but someones screwed with the original project file for this track so i cant really modify it without making it again. thanks for the feedback tho

really quiet in the beginning, but then gets NICE :D your beat or loop? cause thats a nice tight beat mate :D Effects nice
But i was thinking of putting some kind of reverb or echo on the vocals, and i couldn't hear any bass was that because it was on purpose? vocals put in the end nice mate.
Nice work mate, keep up the uniqueness
God Bless

Nice tune, this one. I see DnB is your main thing, Maybe I can stand to lear a few things from you. I normally dont limit myself to any genres, I bleed into everything sooner or later. But this track is arranged well, and flows nicely. Cant say I have much advice in this arena, but keep it up man. Very Nice!
