good start for your first upload, u shud get some lyrics down on this. i thought at some places u were trying to do a bit too much at once but all in all it fits together well and the song builds up nicely. good work keep it up
sounds promising, thought the distortion effect was a little overpowering in some places but sounds like it will turn out to be a killer tune. Iv just uploaded a track iv been working on for a while now so that bassline for your F&L track is the next thing on my list, ill keep u posted.
kewl, I re-uploaded the song so give it another listen, i threw a compression sidechain on the distortion and boosted the requiem samples so you could actually hear them. unfortunately I don't have any monitors, just pc speakers which suuuuuuuck at reproducing DnB. Thanks, can't wait to work with ya on the flilv track!
Hey man this is really good, im real into my dubstep id like to make some oneday but right now its just 2 far away from the angle im on. anyway, in my opinion dubstep should be as minimal as possible without getting boring, this is bang on. ill give your other tracks a listen and tell u what i think in a while im short on time at the moment. this gets a fav from me.
cheers bro
i was trying to make the rest of it with faster basslines, catchier beats, i guess more poppy. the only thing i dont like about dubstep is you cant rave to most of it, so i was going for something you can rave too. cos we all love to rave ;)
thanks for the kind words on this one anyway
hey man these guys have a point it is a little disorganized and needs mastering but so did everyones first work. youve got great sounds to work with u just need a more clearly defined structure, .. intro --> dropn'verse --> interlude etc. personaly i think it would sound good if u jacked the tempo up to around 175 - 180bpm. again you could produce something pretty decent with what uv got here but ull need to do some more work on the mastering/eqing. it can be tricky but it is something that is necessary on every track.
keep it up tho, it sounds like u know what u like to hear and it only gets easier
hope 2 c u back on here soon bro
Haha, thanks mate. The alarm bits came about in a rather strange way. Before I had even added anything I was messin around in the Drums section and came across this one that had the deeper part that reminded me of the way an alarm sounds. So I went and edited it, cutting out everything else. I later added a synth layer to give it a grittier sound that they have when they're going full blast. Thanks again, L&R!
loved the track bro, good to see someone on here has the same tastes as me. I use fl7 aswell and i havent been able to make anything this complete yet, mite have to ask you for sum advice at some point..
Hey! Thanx for the review, it's good to know that I'm not the only one who likes my tracks :P Anyway, I'll be happy to give you advice. :) I've been using FL for 4-5 years know, and I know a lot about this software...still not all, but I gladly share what I've learned so far.
phat tune bro. made the way it shud b 2, i dont no about u but iv noticed that the less time it takes to put a track together the more continuity it seems to have..
that drumline is sick! id like to try and make a bass loop for it if i can get round to it. ill keep u in the know if i come up with anything. dont wait up tho, id like to hear the final product.
i can see what your aiming at. sounds good so far man, the drums have a kind of Nine Inch Nails sound to them. id like to hear the final version, keep at it
