I really like the melodies in here! They are pretty catchy actually :) It reminds me of a tropical island. But i do agree with ALXSIX on the vocals; it gets a bit repetitive.
Thanks for the listen glados666, highly appreciated. Yeah just used sample vocals on this to test drive. But thanks for positive feedback It gives me courage
Cool about the trumpets. I wanted some brass to give that Dixie funeral vibe. I also experimented with some reverb spaces with the muted trumpet around 2:50 to give depth and bring in the rhodes piano jazz chords. thanks for commenting.

I absolutely loved this! Im not too familiar with the original song, but the melody is great, and everything else is great as well! Keep up the good work!
Thanks. Weird was my first impression too. Making this as a remix I figured out it's not really weird, but very uncommon. It's still based on classic harmonies, ignoring the circle of fiths a little bit, but not too much. And it has a very straightforward rhythm, not changing speed.
Very interesting idea here! But for a phrase as powerful as "number one champion" I was expect some louder buildups and more powerful sections. But that's just my opinion. Great start!
Haha you make a valid point. By 'more powerful' do you mean something like a bass drop? Hmm you definitely have me thinking now. I'm thinking of introducing some transition swooshes/pads as well. Maybe more interesting samples.. who knows. Thanks for listening.
Very relaxing! The only thing that would make this like a coffee break is some higher octave piano. Not too much though, then it would sound like a fancy restaurant xD
Hahaha, but seriously, this is pretty interesting! The whole time, it felt like I was on top of a mountain. I was feeling uneasy though, as I can fall at anytime! Those drums you were unsure about around 3:52 do fit, but needs a better transition IMO. It sorta caught me off guard.

(Never understood these signatures that lots of people add. I mean, my name is to the left of here lol)
Pretty interesting! is what I always aim for. I like to take the listener up to mountaintops, the bottom of the ocean and even the centre of an erupting volcano or the collapsing sun.
"Those drums you were unsure about around 3:52 do fit, but needs a better transition"
I agree though they're not too bad as they are. I will go back to fix a few small things and see if I can do a better transition. Maybe catching people off guard with the change is good. I'm still not sure.
Yes, why do people sign off with their user name online when it's guaranteed to be there when they post? OK, if it's your actual name you sign off with, that makes some sense (the personal touch).
Anyway, glad you liked my pretty interesting track.
I honestly think this doesn't need vocals IMO. This is perfect the way it is! I think vocals would be a distraction from the creepy melodies. Great track!
As a huge DnB fan, I gotta say I'm a little disappointed. The song was great! But this isn't DnB in my opinion. Its a mix of other genres.
Still, it's a great song nonetheless!
Sorry about it not being fully DNB. It's still dnb in there just not your ordinary dnb sounds. We kind of put our own twist on the dnb genre. Thanks for the feedback and your honest opinion. It's appreciated, take care!
Haha like I said, I am looking for someone to finish this with so it is going to take some time till someone does a serious take on this probably but eventually it will get finished ;)
Actually I am describing it wrong above, obviously I mean to do a colab with to finish it and not to just let someone else do everything and take credit for a silly intro hahaha

Loved that dubstepish part at 2:33!
My only complaint is that the whole thing was abit too loud imo.
