This would be breakbeat in my opinion, but I don't think categorisation is so terribly important. All in all this is very nicely produced track and I believe there will be more…:)

I agree, but is just good to know what it sounds like to others. For Example i would never have thought "Break Beat" and the reason why is that i usually don't listen to that genre, i have no idea about it's structure( although most electronic music is somewhat similar in that regard ) or what makes it tick.
The idea of producing it was unthinkable to me.

I honestly do not know, my first album took roughly a year.
(though the quality is really low, I just started and still are learning actually)
