hello my friend

very much like this song but it came to my mind and I felt that cca 5 bpm would not be able to increase the speed?

it's only me of course, the song and specially your voice is stunning...

faved with stolen download :-)

handshake, Danke

Hi Danke. I'm afraid that it is far too late to adjust the speed without losing quality. I'm glad that you enjoyed it regardless. I hope the pacing grows on you with more listens :)

A melancholic tune that's spacious and emotional. All good things to set a cool atmosphere and get a feeling across. Nice blend of sounds/instruments too. Nice job!

Hello!

I spent a lot of time sampling, adjusting and rearranging the drums before I recorded anything else. So I'm really glad you like them.

thanks

This result is remarkable if you have spent 1 hour only to produce it. At the same time it makes it somewhat difficult to analyse/review it :). I love the catchy feel. It stays in my head for a while. There are also a few minor issues that I'd usually address ;). But great result for a 1-hour challenge. And the extra minutes due to technical issues, are forgiven.

yeah, like a romantic ballad...great chords...nearly from the pop scene...mood is very positive with a little dark/black feeling...:-)

another stunning work...what is this 1 hour challenge? are you the only participant? :-)

Hey Danke. The challenge is something I set for myself. It makes me focus and I also have more fun because I don't spend hours listening to it again and again for mixing.
And yes, the track is more positive than my usual. Maybe because of the fun I was having. Though I can't resist a little splash of darkness.
Thanks for your comments. They are always welcome :)

Ha - if you gave me an hour to write and record a track, it would be shit. But I don't songs so let's not worry about that.

Anyway, this is quite warm and comforting. Very much "log fire" music ie good to play when you're at home with a nice fire burning. The additional sound effects help add that crinkling, crackly vibe.

Heartfelt, simple stuff. Not the greatest song but warm, sensual and effective. Nice reverse at the end!

hello TA,

this ballad is full of melancholy, a real pleasure to discover it, sometimes simple things are more efficient than big production!

congrats for this performance

Hey BLEEP. I totally agree. The song is simple, so it's production should be the same. I'm glad that the song connected with you. And thank you for feedback my friend.

A nice simple tune that sounds great. Seems like it pushes your lower register a little bit on the singing side. No percussion is needed for this one. I like it alot

Hi man. The vocals were all done in one take, I wanted a warts and all performance. I also didn't EQ out the lower register as heavily as I usually do. I agree about the percussion. This is all about simplicity. Thanks for listening.

Almost has a smiths feel to it. Very cool tune. I love the usage of 7th chords. In fact the chord structure is awesome. Also how you change the feel of the tempo with the drums kicks ass as well. The vocals are like a hybrid of Joy Division, smiths and Momus.
Well done my friend.

I like the gentle pumping flow. Nice dynamics too - the drums kicking in really keep it moving forward. Enjoyed!

Your vocal is def the star TA...like the acoustic guitar you should do it more often...its one of those things you can just stick a mic in front of & play...does have a dark vibe...flowing mainly from that low/fat piano I think...I`m hearing really nice production values all the way...actually the whole thing is really well put together...placement (nice stage set from L to R & front to back)...I don`t mind the sudden end at all...beats that lazy fade that a lot of us (including me) use....I think its one of your best my friend....great job....Ed
