Wow! What eye opening lyrics! Makes you think, through all people go through, the things that go through the mind. And your voice, makes the message shine through loud and clear!
I fell in love with this song a few seconds after start!!! Thank god you shared it here.... this track deserve an hall, a complete orchestra and people clapping hands and asking for BIIIISSSSSS!!!! Definitely set as FAV!
fantastic piece of artwork...don't have to say that one of your most epic...music gives back the description 100%...your voice found the best place here, I think...can't wait the second part and more...
standing ovation, Danke
here is the link from Hungary, the band is called Omega...they were 55 years together last year...this is the song: Napot hoztam, csillagot (Brought you sun and stars) flashed right from your first notes...:-)
Hi Danke.
I'm so glad that it feels epic to you. I often find that the feeling of creating a work doesn't translate to the final product. And also this has really made me work on my voice.
If I may share, I'm not in the best place at the moment. And it feels like I'm making music because my life depends on it. Part 2 is already recorded. And it hurt. Hopefully it lives up to the first.
The Omega song is amazing. Thos drums sound incredible with the vocals and wind instruments. I have chills!

Thanks Jamid. I always feel nervous when I put my vocals on display. But I'm trying not to hide then in the mix now. Your encouragement really helps me. Thank you.
Thanks for your kind words. I have been working on a second album and this will almost definitely be on it. I'll take your thoughts in to consideration as it does not have a title yet. And I think that is a good choice.
And I like to add the lyrics because I can;t stand it when you buy an album andthey are not included. No matter how well a song is mixed it's easy to miss certain phrases.
Sometimes no need to make long descriptions to say the same thing in a few words, namely that we like!!!! Thus here is in a few words my message: publish an album, this title above, and I shall be the first one to buy it!
This track has great atmosphere & sounds quite professional. It reminds me of the Pop act, Eskimo Joe. They do a similar type of piano, synth oriented balled.
this is an outstanding song...I'm not sure I've heard a stunning chorus like this here...waving song...thought provoking one...get calm in life (harder in the childhood, later wiser)
I'm really glad that you like the chorus. I often struggle to write one and usually avoid them all together. But I wanted to challenge myself this time. Thank you.
I really liked the reverb effect on the vocals and I think you also used it on some of the instrumens? Also, I have a thing for pianos so I definitely liked the keys on this too.
Hey Femifactor,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appereciate it.
As for the vocal effect, it's a fun trick: Flip your vox track so it plays backwards and add reverb. Sample the vox on another track, then flip the new recording back. Now the reverb comes before the vocals instead of after and you get a ghost effect :)
I didn't use this on the instuments, just played some of them backwards, cut them into sections and rearranged (just a stylistic thing I often do). Hope this gives you some ideas to play around with.
Real unique track. Has a dark and mysterious almost sinister vibe to it. Vocals are perfect and extremely well done. I'm getting a lot of film noir feeling from it. Would work nice as a theme to something like American Horror story. I dig it TA.
Hey Neomorpheus.
Thank you for your kind words. I agree that it has a sinister vibe. I don't think it's dark enough for AHS though. The latter half seem a little more hopeful, in a ttrippy kinda way. Still if they offer me money, I will not be turning it down :p
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. The track was a good catharsis for me. I got a lot of emotions out that had been sitting with me too long. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks Kargalar.
I used a Ouija board and a spirit box. However, it took me ages to get the place exorcised; now I can finally sleep without hearing Folsom Prison Blues emanating from the walls :D

I thought of Bowie and Floyd when I made it (plus a healthy dose of Tangerine Dream). Your comment has made my day! Thank you :)

I'm not sure I can see it myself. But he's the best character in the film. So I guess that's good?
