Very properly classified in genre. I think this track has a great balance and I love the vibe that picks up at 1:26. Don't get me wrong, the entire track is great and touches on many fields, but that part won me over. Solid work!
I like these tracks where we are at first disconcerted but where we enter quickly in the trip. It's groovy, happy, free... a pleasure to listen! I imagine listening with friends and the atmosphere is very good and catchy!
On a serious note, I dig the discord you built up in this track. I've always had a soft spot for those ambient effects you seem to utilize so well on this track.
Hi my man of silver...As I can hear your creativity hasn't left you, on the contrary, it might be stronger than ever. Very intricate and trippy journey this is. The atmosphere is truly special, almost hypnotic, Some really cool transitions in there too. Extraordinary work !
Great start - nice house sounds - the bass could be tuned a little or it might be the way you intended. Either way I enjoyed where it took me. At 1:45 is really good from here, nice progression. I got hammered at 3:35! :) Trippy.
Thanx Alien. This is a continuation of Bill one even though Bill one was different than this. I wanted to capture a mood and I'm happy with that so yeah this is how I want it. Doesn't always work out like that. I often find myself saying so at the beginning or picking up on the advice like you kindly gave but no .... I've captured the mood I wanted. I'm just a hobbyist so aint trying to go someplace with my music. Bill died and these two tunes are for him but ... not really cos he's dead. They must be for me then to help me tune into him as I knew him. They're working for me. Not just about that either though any longer as I'm imagining some vocals about getting spaced out! Anyway again thank you for your encouraging words.
I think you are probably one of the most talented story tellers on this site. I've no idea how you can take all of these different loops/genres and add your own ingredients to the mix, and end up with these wonderful cohesive productions. It takes real skill, and real vision to assemble all of this. Love that feedback at 3:30. Bro, this is stellar work, but I expect nothing less from you. Really, really well done. I hope all is well.
Wow praise indeed! Thank you SB. As for how I do what I do I think it must be a time thing. Takes me weeks sometimes months to do a track because I'm simply not in a hurry. Have just bought a minibus that I'm converting to a camper to do as much of the UK come rain or shine as I can and possibly Europe when I've done that so although I'm still creating this stuff it has been pushed back by the van. Got to fit the electrics next week for keyboard pc guitar etc because I intend to carry on my number one hobby in the middle of the forest the beach wherever my wheels take me. Thanks so much for your kind and encouraging words.
Really good stuff and sounds, do you synthesize them youself? I feel like the kick and clap could hit harder but that's just my opinion. Also one synth reminds me of pink floyd.. so cool, that wavy synth panned left.
Silve, this is tight man and as danke put it, perfect progressive lounge! I love the changeups throughout, it morphs back and forth between several genres, House, Jazz, Hip Hop/Trip Hop with the Reggae undertones remaining consistent throughout. Very much a groove heavy high quality mix. Super production elements and obvious attention to separation and stereo effect. I dig the hard panned stuff. This works really well in the clubs. If you don't mind I will get it into some playlists here in Big D. Ha ha with the title I was expecting to hear the Icecream truck ding dong sound effect in a fading outtro. Its definitely sweet and smooth.
