No question it is very minimal and a lil repetitive...but what do ya expect with one friggin loop. This was a very cool idea and for what you had to work with it is great! Well done..simple and creative..I dig it!
Thanks Mel, I agree completely. I'm thinkin that this'd be the perfect kinda track for the title screens of a video game or something. Other than that it's pretty limited. Glad ya dug it though. L&R!
Haha! Refrain's a funny word isn't it? Like restrain, but not as cool (and non-existant with out the prefix... as far as I know). Anywho, I will abstain from any further random-brain-strain, lol. Anywho, as you were saying- 'It's not done' and you're right. Course, Splish added his side (have ya heard it yet?). Then again, even then, this is one of those never-enough song. Ending forever on a cliffnote, closure-free. (sighs) It's kinda like playing with Legos- one could keep adding blocks until doomsday. I'm glad ya liked it mate and thanks. L&R!
That's some funny shit. Good mix man. Very good. The end effect makes me think of the heart beat of the pile of clothes (apparently it needs to work out).
Good track, one that I listened to and could get a good picture in my head, although if the laundry thing hadn't have been brought up who knows what it would've been. Probably some spacecraft/futuristic/alien thing. I don't know.
Haha, yeah, it's outta shape or sickly. As for the desc story, I was just wanting to share what it made me think of (and serve to explain the remix name). Glad ya dug it. Lates!
Sorry for the delay. Thanks mate, the different thing came from the original artist's work. I just reorganized this and added effects in my style. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Nice work. I was able to completely enjoy this, headphones on, head bobbin, and loving every second. I am with you on getting song lengths up. The ADD in the world of music needs to go, and love of the song needs to be brought back.
Yep, but ya know what's funny. If you go & listen to stuff from the 50's or before a good number of the songs back then were under 3 minutes. Like the early Rock stuff or Jazz, for example. My reasoning behind longer songs is that it means less stuff that's needed to be played during a session at a show. Glad ya dug it. L&R!
Hmmm...don't really know what to say about this one...not enough in there lol! But I will say the FX and filters are nice...maybe you need to throw something extra on there, maybe I'll have a vision...
Thanks man, yeah, it came to me coz of how some people claim that makin music can be too hard. I made this track in only a couple of hours. Recording the vocal boxin went by really quick once I had the drums decided on. It honestly took the longest to add the effects that I did. Thanks again, L&R!
Hey Ash, you mind if I upload the loops I used on this? I was thinkin that we could maybe bring like one other person in on this. And my bad for the other, haha, happens sometimes with stuff like that. Anyways, green lights are go to pick this one back up if ya wanna. Later on!
Hey this is almost Doctor Whoish.....very interesting direction...post modern electronica.....I think this track has the potential for a lot of applications...film,club..whatever...a slightly abrupt ending or was I just waking out of a brief day dream....nice one!...cheers planet
Thanks,
The ending was done to match exactly that. As if in a video it would show the person opening their eyes. As for the apps, I totally agree. I just wish I had better hardware, because I had this wicked idea for making elements of this song warble in and out. Shoot, effects in general there's alot that can be done. Don't really see the Bond film comparison though, but it's cool.
Thanks again, L&R!
PS. Just gave ya props on the collab
ya did w/Eshar- FunkJazz Planet,
adios.
Yeah I haven't been around recently..how about I upload it and you stick the original here...so as not to confuse people who have already reviewed this one...plus so people can hear the difference..just a thought...hit me back if you wanna do it this way and lemme know if you've added anything :)....100!
Alright mate, we can do that. Twas kinda the way I thought we would anyways. So allow me to adjust fire here and hit me back once you've added it so I can put a link to it here. Lates!
Haha, thanks mate. The alarm bits came about in a rather strange way. Before I had even added anything I was messin around in the Drums section and came across this one that had the deeper part that reminded me of the way an alarm sounds. So I went and edited it, cutting out everything else. I later added a synth layer to give it a grittier sound that they have when they're going full blast. Thanks again, L&R!
Yessirree,
Ay mate, just wanted to letcha know that I've uploaded the version ya sent me here if that's cool. I was waitin to see if you were gonna load it to yer page first, but ya didn't. Anywho, we'll save that for the next one I guess. And I will resume this in a few. Later on!
Thanks mate, the way I did this originally was because Ash mentioned wanting to do that part of the collab. And your request has been granted. Swing back by and check out what Splish has added. L&R!
Prech mate. Which part/s reminded you of the 70s? In relistening I can kinda see how the Piano bits at the beginning and end have a slight Clockwork Orange feel to 'em. New vers up if ya wanna check it out. L&R!
Quite a name there! I haven't listened to all that much Trance type or Techno music I'll admit, but what I have listened to, this is quite different than I have heard before. I think it sounded pertty cool, but I'd like to hear more variety in it. Perhaps when your partner adds their part, it will change a lot more?
Thanks for uploading it,
Randy
Greets,
The SN was a joke on top of a joke. First part I added and the second was inspired by something I read on a track review on here. As for the other, he did add some stuff and it's up now on here if ya wanna check it out. Thanks, L&R!
You know it's interesting when musical parts, passages or instruments are showcased by themselves with out any back up or support from other sources....I like this..(though I've got a suspicion that I've heard it in part before)...next logical step is to expand it into a whole orchestral piece, then you'd really be riding!...nice!..cheers planet
Yessiree boobie thatchers! As for the musical parts part, that's one of the aspects of Orchestral/classical which always intrigues me. How you've got sections, levels (or rows), chairs w/lead (sometimes in solo), etc. And although it's worlds above my understanding I sometimes try to emulate, immitate, and sculpt what they play into what I do. Which leads us to the next part, it's familiarity. I wouldn't be suprized if these key sequences have been used before. It was a very basic key pattern I used to make this. Thanks, L&R!
Very nice. There's a sound in there I hear that I think of as the hoof beats of the horse. I just figured out who you are since you changed your name and avatar Donnie. Been trying to figure that out.
Haha, I am a man of many wonders (bras, bread, Stevies, years, the list goes on). Maybe it's just me getting bored with my surroundings or perhaps it's another phase in my Arthropodic-like life cycle, shrugs. I just think Deck-hed has this ring to it.
As for the track, I was immediately hit with that old-skool vibe, dunno why. Thanks, L&R!
Should've listened to the original first...oh well I'll go check it out now...
Killer arrangement, you never fail to impress...sounds like another to be joined to the set of Alien tracks I've reviewed...
There's a crew of alien bounty-hunters after the Looperteam....the bounty-hunters are stealing across the surface plains of Alpha Centuri II, whilst the Looperteam hide in the sewers below, watching up through the misty grates embedded into the ceiling...they keep moving..."Hey, who's down there?!"...Boba Fett points his laser blaster down at the team through the sewer grates...To Be Continued:: "Have A Shot of Absynth on Alpha Centuri II" (I should really rename that track)....
Yeah, I usually try to do that whenever it comes to remixes. Not all the time, but mostly.
As for the track name, I think it's cool as is. Kinda grabs yer attention and makes ya wanna play it. Just try to avoid making super long song names alot, coz of player and CD labelling space limits and such. I use the 3 word standard and abbreviate anything over that (like on my remix names for lengthy titled originals+band names).
As for the vision, I think of myself more like a gun-for-hire/anti-hero hero. Kinda like the one's who are forced into the situation to save or survive. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Thanks mate. As for quality, this is what we get when I do something in stages, taking breaks, and not doing everything in just one session. As for the other, though there are some subtle differences between this and the original- to date, I've never deviated too far from the norm/foundation. Perhaps odd in the remix world, but that's just my style. Thanks again, L&R!
Merci beaucoup buddy. The basement thing came from my grandparent's place in South Bend, Indiana mixed with the one from Home Alone. Truth be told, I've always loved basements, but could see how some people would be afraid of 'em. Where I feel embrassing warmth they might feel smothering humidity. Where I feel security they might feel Claustrophobia, et al. And I've gotta say that once I read what ya put at the end I had a good chuckle.
Is it a menacing Gremlin or the new family puppy? Haha, thanks, L&R!
Haha, only if they help (and only if you have a valid perscription for 'em). Hey, wanna hear one that'll F*** with you more? Go to TheRealNeil's page and listen to his track Spacecraft. Thanks for the review brah. L&R!
Nice! Very abstract. I just turned the volume up, listened and got lost in this amazing piece. Very good production, you've got skills. Well done.
Cheers S.
Thanks mate & you can thank Moke for it soundin different. All I did was take what he had, add about 12 effects (3 per additional channel), and reorganized it a bit. As for the playback, I'm still wearing headphones so I'll haveta check it out with the speakers cranked. Thanks again, L&R!
Nice follow on to start with...as always my head doesn't stop moving when I'm listening to your tracks...This one's an underwater rave...nice intro and transition to the drums and percs...everyone starting to fall into the middle of the underwater dance floor....Splish is splashing all over the place...DV mashing up the MPC on the coral stage...The whole Looperfam busting a move with drink in their hands...Spongebob and Patrick join the party....Oh no! It's Plankton! (Evil synths and bass coming in)....To Be Continued..........
Ash, you my man. It's funny that ya put it that way coz I was thinkin that Part I was like a person above water lookin down, as if they were standing on the shoreline. And for this one, my mind's eye was underwater. Though my vision was kinda dull and just in a pool, opps. I'm really diggin the Squarepants throw in ya dropped. That's a very good toon to watch with breakfast on Nick Jr. As for Plank, anyone gotta slingshot, lol!? As for it's continuation, I think this one is going to evolve solely on it's own (unlike Lightswitch), unless ya wanna try to add somethin. Lemme know when ya upload some new chunage holmes. Lates!
Thanks and I know what you're saying. This was the first vers I started way back when right after I first got the program. Had no idea what I was doing, just liked the stuff I was hearing. So after hours of monkeyin around I came up with this. A few days later I went back and restarted it. Making a new version. Picking it up years later and mixing it further. Speaking of which, have you heard that one yet? It's on the last track's page, I believe. Thanks again, L&R!

I love it.
And to refrain with the "great track"
and to refrain with the "cocky i know everything post"
I would like to say.. Finish it.
It's not done.
in my opinion.
But then you have as boson pointed out to me
"a whole new can of worms"
I like it either way.
