That's absolutely lovely. Just spent an enjoyable 4 minutes noodling my guitar to your track and I'll play it again just to warm up my fingers. I even got an song idea of my own out of it (I'll remember to mark it "inspired by Pseudoble :) )
Thanks mate - this is different from the other recent efforts but I liked where I got to with the cross rhythms and the stereo mix with this one. Had to go work earlier today but looking forward to hearing you new one shortly : )
I've never heard an afrobeat track before, but if this is what is to be expected I might start listening. The ethnic vibes and the beautiful textures are explosive yet subtle. The vocal addition was a nice touch. Great job.
Thanks for listening mate and Im pleased you like the rhythms - theres 20 or more elements in there so it was a bit of task mixing but I think I finally got an okay sound : )
that's a nice intro and build with great percs Ian, the vocals are cool its sexual but its fresh so not a worry for me, its quite a chilled out listen mate
Clearer mix. I can hear all the particulars a little more present. Pretty chilled out track, nice percussion throughout the track. This would hold up without the vocal parts, solid track. Great background music to paint a painting to, allows the mind to flow, wander.
Super cool rhythms Ian, love the fx panned across the stereo field, great horns. This is really unique in my book. Pretty sexual, see what you mean about the content :(
Thanks Chris - yeah it's a bit different I always like to try to mix up what Im doing ... starting a lot with guitars lately but can rarely hear them after all the manipulation but makes for more novel and unpredictable process and layers of other sound : )
Ian, have you been smoking weed :)) when a seen the title, i was like eh! Grafezzy, Ian, Hip-Hop. nah...wow, its very well done, its a cool track mate, great intro and sax, love the foleys and the background sounds and melody its hard, love the breaks, Hip-Hop gave that to music the vocal is right in the pocket, great alternative style, thats what true hip-hop is about being different. im not surprised you could pull this off, you got talent, but im surprised you done it, dont ditch it mate keep it as is in my opinion you get a fav for step so far outside your field on this. nice one bro
Havent smoked much weed for years now ... too old and too busy most of the time ... maybe Id have a toke on a joint if the opportunity arose ; )
My very first upload to Looperman now consigned to the dustbin of history (ie: soundcloud) featured Grafezzy! Like you I too I like to keep experimenting with sounds and genre - as much as the technology and my knowing WTF im doing allows.

Thanks Maj - not really my thing either - to be honest not much of the music I make is music I would usually listen to - and if you'd played it for me a couple of years ago before I started playing with my daw I doubt I would have been much interested - go figure - I guess it's that my musicianship is to put it politely 'underdeveloped' and that the technology (for me) is a large part of being able to create something. I have fun though : )
ah so deliriously cool. you take your time making this lock and then it fucking clicks and it rules. i love that you went all the way with it — it develops a groove that makes me feel pretty damn good. hey man i’m also glad you seem to be playing a lot these days! keep experimental music alive!
Thanks mate - appreciate your listening and the consistent warm feedback.
Unfortunately the motive for music making is not so artful, Im avoiding work! - I seriously have to stop for a while and get sorted before I bury myself ... discipline ... been a while since I exercised any of that : )
You can see from your comments that this track is unique and well done. You know I don't fit into the standard tracks either and I like to try out everything.Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but as you said yourself that's the learning process. And there are quite a lot of people who like to listen to music that is slightly different from the average music.Daring to try out and discover something new is what makes your track so unique
It great on LM that so many different approaches are taken and so many people are willing to listen to different styles and experiment, does make it more fun - thanks again
How you doing there, thanks for checking it out, it's kinda unconventional but Im happy with this on. Im often not so pleased with my final effort and have to remind myself its just part of the learning to try different things and fuck stuff up. We can be our own harshest critic but it's good to know what other people can hear and get some different perspectives. Thanks again : )
Fav yet again Ian. I haven't been here much either lately, this is the first and delightfully treatful piece I've listened to in a while. Great stereo panning, it's dense and percussive but ambient and atmospheric at the same time. There's a whole world in this one. You're an artist man in the truest sense of the word.
Hey Mate - yeah I've posted a few without featuring as Im still crazy busy but it's so nice to have a play and catch up - just posted a version of strange fruit - not sure how successful that one is but it reminded me of our jack teagarden adventure with your track. I love it that the vox was actually in Fmin which was the key the track was in - so random how we connect these things : )
