love the ambient charm in the intro Chris the whole track is minimalistic but you added great percs which keep the listener interested it has a haunting feel to it at times nice mix and the outro was cool, well done bro experiments are always good Ian used to always bring them, and because its different, i call it creative, it appeals to me

Thanks Paul. I find it kind of hypnotic if you listen in a certain way and all the way through. Others might just think it's boring lol.

I really like the old radio sound of the vocals. Really adds a dark level of immersion in the song itself.

The kicks in the first half gives this song a HOUSE-Y vibe. Was this intentional?

Either way, well done

The vocals involved my first experiment in automation with the delay/feedback. No real intention as far as the beat was concerned, I just liked it and thought it fitted. Cheers Zoot.

I really like the driving rhythm, it sort of propels you forward, the fuzz and dissonance blurs like the rear view mirror at high speeds but like high beams in fog the bass line cuts the path, so you continue down the winding road, nice journey!

AH !!! THe Passenger, off Lust For Life, Iggy Pop. Siouxsie & the Banshees covered it. It's a classic. Now you did it!! No wonder I love it!! Great job man.

You got it! Very cool to hear you appreciated it. Yes only really the lyrics ripped off, didn't use the actual chord progression of the original obviously. And boy, it's been a while since I thought of Siouxsie and co. Might have to go back and listen again. Cheers.

This is trippy as hell man. Sounds like a radio message from a whiteboy ghetto space station. Like the coolest thing I've heard on LM in awhile. I'm putting this on my Iphone.

Om, Chris. There's something Indian, raga-like about it somehow. Smoke. hmm Can I draw? Incredibly beautifully produced in this idiosyncratic tempo and the economical instrumentation. Few can do that. Time for me to smoke... Groovy

Ha yes have one for me! I guess open tunings lend themselves to that drone. Thanks Micky.

Trippy man. Reminds me of the hippy drug music from way back in the day. Loose. Really loose.

Great use of three and swing values to get that time signature ambiguity.
Nice droning guitar, vocals, and general mix.

Thanks BOD. Time signature ambiguity comes easy to me given my general lack of rhythm. But yeah, I do like odd timing.

Hey Chris, ive been on a listening streak today, and caught up on some more of your work. How would you feel about sending me some stems? I prefer new/unused work but i wont be picky here. I can work with any key but i prefer bpm between 110-150, or halftime. Lmk, my friend. Youve put out some really nice work! Keep it up. -Aaron

Very masterfully done. This is what a real instrumental should sound like. It stands up on its own as an in-depth nonsystematic musical masterpiece, meaning there is righteous and adept order in the chaos of the arrangement. The Vox brings the whole thing front and center. Great fxs work too. Saturation/Distortion parts are perfect. Great final Master. Well done!

Greetings and thanks for your lovely comment. I couldn't decide on a structure for this but in the end went for a devolution into chaos as you eloquently point out. As for the guitar fx, I recently sprung the cash for the full version of guitar rig pro, glad I did as the fx bank is superb and will keep me busy for years I think! Cheers from down under.

HI Danke, yeah I know what you mean. The ending was some sort of artefact I just went with, but you're right, it needs to go for longer. Not sure I'll come back to this one though. And man, gotta say again, I loved that last lofi one you put up. It's lofi and some of the sounds are lofi, but not the usual drifty type of thing - yours had a darkness to it I thought.

Dark, urban, smokey bar, desolate feeling. And also could be the theme song for a tv cop show. If you go back into it, I would also turn up the level of the vocals. Nice low end!

The Passenger is one of my fav Iggy tunes, btw.

Yeah it's a great song. Bowie produced it I think, and played piano on it apparently, though to be honest, I can't remember a piano in it!! Cheers man.

nice work Chris, such a deep vibe you created with this work, i like the vocal stolen from iggy or not, its got a great pace setting beat and that snare is tight, so this is DUNK, im a fan bro

Thanks Paul, wasn't sure about it, sometimes I thought it was good, other times maybe lacking some proper structure. Might come back to it...Cheers man.

I know I favorited this song earlier... I just didn't remember if I commented on it or not, so now I will lol

Both you and Pseudoble created an incredible piece.

You know if feels like an interlude session of a live concert where you had this incredible song before hand, and then as the song winds down, you work your way into this one, and it just becomes this trippy space indie subsection that you can see the crowd just swaying back and forth feeling this music, and as you finish this up, you go into the next song.

I was born in '82, and this reminds me of growing up in the 90s.

This is not an exaggeration:

This is the best indie grundge song I have heard on looperman.

Well that's an amazing comment, thank you very much. The main guitar part is pretty rudimentary but I figured it did all it needed to...in fact, I'm pretty sure I stayed on one fret and didn't have to move more than a couple of fingers to play it lol. I listened to your dnb track asking for vocals by the way. Very cool track, if I was a better singer I'd have a crack at it. Thanks again, Chris.
