I appreciate those kind words and I thank you for stopping by, listening and reviewing, Vicen. This song has been with me for quite some time and now it's almost finished. lol.
Hope everything is nice in Barcelona, take care.
Cool man, loved the gun slinger lead at the end, very western sounding! Sounds like this one has passed the test of time. I like the story about talking to the statue. Reggae, I love it!
Thanks Wayne, I'm glad you liked it.
The song has been with me for a while (close to 30 years, haha) but it was just a few weeks back I got the melody for the chorus and I had to record it. Thanks for the review and the fav, appreciate it.

You know I'm such a fan of your guitar sound Kikajon...Your real guitar sounds like a "real" guitar and you have a very refreshing song here, very good!
I feel inspired to experience something transatlantic now!
Thank you Allen, I'm glad you like it. The guitar sound – just a cord into an amp, I guess.
But check your mailbox, I think your wish about transatlantic experiences just came true. :D
Thanks Vicen, I'm glad you liked it. The song came about fairly quickly, I wanted to make a more European sounding tune and I guess I came close anyway. :)
Thanks again for your nice words.
/pmk
p.s. Jim just finished the vocals on the next Transatlantic Experience song, thought you'd like to know.
This is a really great track! Love this very much
I must say without the sync problems(vocal) here and there this is a top track, the kind you want to hear on the radio every day :)
Thank you for the kind review. The syncing problem is probably because I make up the lyrics as I sing them, I'm sort of occupied figuring out the next word all the time. :)
But on the other hand, if I actually write the lyrics I might just make it better. Thanks again.

Thank you Spiv, I'm glad you listened and I appreciate your kind words. The mix was made with new headphones so it was a bit of guessing in the mix, but it seems like it worked out just fine.
Thanks again, cheers

Kyle, thanks. The flying V came in nicely in the introduction and the rest is strat. I wanted a more European sound in this one and I think it came out nice. Maybe an tamburine and an organ can make way into the song, I'm not sure. Thanks again for the review. Cheers

this really works, connects on all the levels - gotta be up there with your best vox - new life, relevance for power-ballads - much admired, great respect, pmk
Thanks Michael. Since I consider myself a guitarplayer/songwriter first your comment on the vocals is unexpected and much appreciated. Thanks again for your very kind words.
Cheers

Another nice pop/folk type tune. I like this one as well. Then addition of the mandolin is a nice additional sound. That is one instrument I never learned. Seems like the frets were to small to my eyes. lol
I would say you'd have a good chance of getting ahead in the music world if you advertize in the right places.
Oh....meant to ask...what does the 'ft' stand for? I see it in quite a few of your titles.
ft stands for "featuring". I thought that it was the right way to shorten it, but heeey, I'm swedish so it may stand for something completly different without me knowing. :)
The music is a just something I do to relax but I plan to put it out on Itunes and spotify but it's a later issue. The songs are drafts and ideas captured in the fretboard. I don't sing to well so I'm quite happy to have found Jim Byrd here at looper, he is a really good singer. Together with Allen Venable we form the band Transatlantic Experience. I also collaborate with my son Erik, "kruus", who also sings way better than I. :)
But this song is all me, apart from the mando.
Thanks again for a nice review, your words means a lot.
Ah my friend great tune! You capture perfectly the spirit of hanging out with friends and just letting loose and having a great time!Hey, we all have rhythm when we can't stand up straight!Great vocals, the mandolin sounds great and fits perfectly, and its feelgood song!Hmm,the price you must have paid to get us this great tune!
what a fun to listen to!!!
songwriting in it's purest form, I love it ....
and it absolute doesn't matter that I don't understand a word, the music speaks for itself and you get a picture what the song could be about ...
brilliant my friend!!!
Thanks Rei, I'm humbled.
The song really about getting hammerd and making a fool of oneself on a festive night. The result of a night like that is a monster headache. But in this case also a song.
I thank you very much for the kind review. As said in the bar: Cheers.

this is a great track i almost greased my hair and pulled out my king james switch blade(my bible)hahaha. sweet track vocals reminds me of The Necromantix
Thanks for the rev and the camparison. The pouges and dropkick have nice energy in their music and I like that in a tune, regardless of genre. Thanks again for stopping by and listening. Peace

Thanks Vicen, I appreciate you stopping by and reviewing.
It was rather fun to do something different than I usually do and Wayne volonteered to add the mandolin – the search for the tin pipe is on.
