Love the feel behind this, has that local band vibe.
I almost wanted the guitars to have more volume to them. But the way they are now gives it that live-on-stage feel. Love the progression of the song, it builds nicely. The bass gets funky along with the drums at some parts, that gives it life.
Got my head nodding Gooseman! Sounds great! Summer ANTHEM!
sliiiiick, sounds alot liek santana actualy... your guitar kicks a-ss man, just did a number on myself with actually playing my guitar again too.. holy, nice nice,
Holly's vocals are lovely, crazy on the guitar !!!
hahaha at mstokes. i've plugged my ipod into my amp at a motel ; )
Digging those congas :D
I can imagine the Native Remembrance Dancers in Downtown dancing to this so fluidly (Im from Los Angeles)
It feels Tribal to me, thats what I pick up from it. Makes me miss the desert so i can rush through dunes on a quad(atv), not sure why.
Feels good to listen to! Bomb track Toby, I enjoyed it L:
Sad Summer is ending song is freaking right. Thats exactly what this sounds like.
You are apparently not only a slayer of brass and guitar Goosmeyer, but a master of backing up vox as it would seem from the two tracks I have enjoyed today.
You really know how to bring it home brother, great work.
Had no gripes whatsoever.
Heck, I was expecting applause at the end :P
What what WHAT! why was I not notified of this awesome spin on an awesome spin of a just ok track >:O
Wow this is seriously awesome Gooseman! I love the guitar, it flows so nicely with Nuadas vox.
Dude must you constantly slay it with your brass skills? geez some of us lack the ability to pull off slick brass mels ahaha
Just messing Goose, great track man. Seriously. Extremely refreshing to listen to. I enjoyed it very much.
I have been a fan of Big Band and Lounge since I was a kid. This sounds just like the music my Grandmother used to play while we baked on Saturdays. If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was sitting in a ballroom with ladies in elegant gowns, dudes in tuxedos, cigarette smoke filling the air while the younger girls swooned over the slicked back daddy swinging his groove.
I really like the music in this one. The guitars, the beat, and the bass with that tip of a saxophone just rolls in a hazy Sunday afternoon. The vocals needed crisping, in my humble opinion. It's hard to understand what's being said, although the melody works very well with the music. It makes me think of what David Bowie circa China Girl mixed with Enigma would feel like if they had a illegitimate child together.
I can't tell you how many tracks I've listened to that sounded poorly arranged, too much of this or that, over the top out of control showcases of bad talent.
THIS is not one of those. It's catchy, well done lyrics, very well engineered. It has the feeling of being dragged under water against ones will while still fighting to stay afloat. I particularly am fond of the chorus.
great work here Goose.music track is right on it.you created just what this pella needed.mastering could work wonders for this track if its done right.PEACE. THE MACK MAN OUT.
Glad I came back to check this out again, really nice job with putting this together. The vocal track is excellent to begin with. Really liked the guitars in this, very well mixed too, great job Toby!
