this is a greeeeat baby. :)
I really enjoy hearing jazz. and this piece is really good so i enjoyed much. :)
smooth fills, a great sound and arrangement, very good phrasing.
a bigger guitar solo would have been fine. but's a matter of taste.
Thanks, Glocke.. I plan on adding some more Setzer style riffs when I borrow my friend's Gretsch "Chet Atkin's guitar" with Bigsby trem. I'd also like to replace some of the Loops with some of our Loopers.
all the best, The Goose.
yeah Mhyst is awesome! i love this pella and didn't expect to hear a sugar pop version on looperman. i must say : fukking great work. took me by surprise in a very good way.
i see this is an old track for you but ya know???...it's pretty bad ass my friend. great job on the ragga metal groove that would carry the bad brains touch.
Jeez! I didn't think anyone would get the "Bad Brains" connection.. I was even thinking of putting part of the vocal "through the telephone" like "Sacred Love".
I'm sure you're a busy guy, But I do wish you'd put more stuff up.
as always, Peace! (btw, I gave you a shout-out on my newest track)
That means a lot coming from you. I would be putting more guitar oriented stuff up, but I'm still having latency issues and will probably need a usb souncard to get back on track..
thanks again, The Goose.
this is a great sounding track, its nice to hear some good vocals in it. good voice however it needs to be louder and thicker. not a bad little production!
I agree D.Vickers acapella lost and found is amazing. i did some work with it as well. I just used the chorus part though. check it out and we can collaborate on something better. good job though. mojeve@yahoo.com
Great job with my acapella! The chords and everything meld together flawlessly! There have been a couple of remixes of my acapellas where it sounds like the person who made it is either a little tone deaf, or has no knack for hearing rhythms. But, you are definitely not one of them! Great work! Let me know if you'd like to try another one.
Whoah, amazing guitar work! Holly's voice is perfect as always. I totally got the Satriani and Santana feel... careful though, too much of that might get you sued ;)
In listening to your tune here, I like the doublebeat on the kick drum. I have a whole set of them on disk. I have only used a few of them as I don't do many metal tunes. One set was used in my 12 string tune, but it was mild.
The rest of the music was just fine...the bass, the guitar playing.
I didn't understand the words thought that well. The vocals need a different type of reverb or something. But that is my opinion. I could hear the 'after effect' at the end and it sounded tight.
Santana is amazing but i need not tell you that, the vocals are great, maybe I should talk to Scott about playing more guitar. If you can play Carlos like that then you can play pretty much anything. You got my ears ....keep it up. I grew up listening to all kinds of music, but MOONFLOWER and LOTUS..... Super Special to me. The LOTUS is in MINT condition, oh I have a small record collection. Melody and long lasting guitar notes "MM" Peace
This is sick! ragga with heavy rock! I'm cumming in my pants! Originality is immense keep it up dude!
p.s was readin the reply to beyondevolutions comment and i always used to have the same problem mixing down with clipping etc but now i mix down to a lower point for all my tracks not everything needs to be right up near the 0db range everything just fights for headroom too much! just mix it so it sounds nice n use the master to boost it up at the end with a nice bit of compression or a mastering suite like t-racks n i reckon ul get a lot better sound dunno if this is how the pro's do it but it seems to work 4 me
Respect on that killa track man im gonna listen to it again n if u got a d'load link 4 a wav or mp3 that would be wicked (i always use zippyshare ;-))
I have the download option on, you can grab it from here, but my next try at the mix, I'll post a link to it in 320kbps.
I had the backing composed, and when I heard the MR DOLL vocal, I knew there had to be at least one other pothead on here who wants metal with raggae..lolz.
