Big improvement over some of your older songs as this on has a lot less clipping. Why don't you check out a few of my tracks I have added some since the last time I saw you on this site.
i like it but you could switch up the drums a little bit before you put this track away. just like what damann said. i like it though you definitly put some time into it and it shows.
hey bro,
thanks for givin me some proper feedback. havent given this track a thought in a while, the drums are really repetitive, was just feeling out the new synth.. BUT. this could be a lot better, you're right. think i might have to give it a new coat of paint. i'll let u know what happens!
take care!
So i didnt know how to exactly contact you but i used the same piano loop you used here in one of my tracks and in kinda the same way. But still different. Its called Moon River, If its alright with you that i used that loop. This one sounds though...
If you could get me that vocal and the piano i could do a hardstyle remix if you don't mind. Synth up the piano and speed it up with the voice creating an identity. It would be preety sick. Hit me up if you could... Foosemonkey@sbcglobal.net
Sounds better than your last dnb track. The drums sound muffled a bit. I think this needs more sub bass. Also I uploaded a new dnb track called "The Malstrom." If you would like to hear it.
i like the changes esp @ the beggining and the end. I did think maybe you could work on fine tuning the drums a TAD. But i loved the emotion behind this one. sounds great!
congrats! your my first review on this sight! ;)
so i think that you obviously have a lot of talent, and this track was good, but there is something that i feel is missing. i would recommend listening to some justice because i love there sound and listening to them might help you develope yours. you could be headed in that direction i feel like, but on the other hand parts of this song remind me of somethings by the postal service, but if you want to take that route, i would recommend adding vocals, because that is definetly a big part of their music. i hope my advice helps!
awesome, much appreciated. im proud haha.
thanks alot, been working hard on this stuff. glad its paying off. i see what you are sayin with the postal service, that delayed synth reminded me of some of their tunes too lol. been listening to alot of the darker stuff like noisia and spor and tryin to scratch some tricks out of them. i'll do the same with justice, thanks for the tip.
again thanks alot!
Spitting out and gurgling electrical currents. Kinda like those laser light shows the Disney parks have mixed in with the FX of Tron. The one melody on this reminds me of a song I heard back in the 90's... If only I could remember what it was now. Eh, it'll come to me at some other time (prolly when I'm trying to get to sleep). I'm really diggin the way the drums take a back seat to the other stuff in this song. In fact, it's kinda funny too, because I was half-tempted to write something like a suggestion on the last track I reviewed of yours (to try an experiment removing the drums from a hardstyle song to see how it would turn out), but didn't (well, I kinda just did here, didn't I, haha). Interesting mix mate. Later on!
How I feel about Hardcore/Hardstyle. A part of me wants to embrace it and another wants go run the other way. Eh, I dunno. That was how I felt about remixes for the longest time so who knows, I'll probably come around eventually.
I can kinda hear what yer saying about the quality delivered by that one VST. Sounds really rich a 3D. I'm reminded of a video game I'm pretty sure you haven't played, but it's level 2 on Robotech Battlecry (the space fight near Earth). The controls weren't all that great, but the graphics of that one level were just as rich. Overall this was a pretty sweet mix, save for the abrupt ending (but I'm not that familiar with hardstyle so I dunno). Lates!
haha yeah, just using presets whe i was startin out with it. you can always tell with those FL sounds tho lol.
thanks for the review man, take it easy.
Hi Falter, I really like the feel of this track, the choice of synths you went with was very good, and the melodies are great, but I feel there's something missing, the song feels a bit empty, it might be the drums, I'm not sure. I didn't hear any of the earlier mixes but this one was worth checking out.
Peace,
Helix
haha damn, i just got done reviewing one of your tunes. nice one =p. i know i said its the final but im starting to think the same, beats a bit generic. well spotted =]

Nice but the drums and bass clip when they come in. You need to turn the volume down on the bass and main drums. Make sure there is no clipping. It would be hard to explain how to master your songs so search for tutorials. Or you could send me your track with the levels down and I could master it for you.
Yeah of course man that would be awesome. Let me just give it a last go thru tonight and I'll send it to you when its done. Still some things I'm picking at. Thanks in advance tho.
Take it easy!
Im liking this track my sorta sound, im gonna download this and might have a bash at adding something to it if thats ok with you.
I have never remixed any other tracks but have been thinking about it lately so it would all be a bit of an experiment for me.
Nice One

yeah no worries! do what you like with it. just let me know when u get somethin together.
you may have heard of these guys, but look up Spektre, it's the bastards who stole my old stage name lol but they have some quality tunes much like this. check out one called Hover. incredible stuff. anyway take care, glad u dig the tune.

Maaaan, turn that ish up! No seriously, turn it up. If ya remaster this bump the levels up a tad, pwetty pwease, tank you!
This is a pretty cool compo so far. I really like the way you've blended the two different styles together. It's a concept that I can buy into. In fact, I might just try my hand at something similar later on. Thanks additionally for the inspiration there.
This kinda song is what I like to call a Breather Bridge. Used in long sets that have alot of energy a song like this would be played to give people a break from the heavy impact of the faster stuff. While still allowing them to shake their rumps. I'm thinkin this would go perfect in a Hardstyle session or something similar. Thanks for sharing. Later on!
thats the good/bad thing about getting nice new monitor phones. it sounds crystal at all volumes so choosing the right one is harder.
glad to have inspired! ill be checking up to see what you come up with. i like the 'breather bridge' idea and might have to work up a couple to use later on.
thanks for the review donnie.
Peace.
yeah! I'm a bit of a prick in that I hate using sample anything anymore. I get he most enjoyment outta knowing I programmed all beats and sounds myself.
peronally - I can't get away from Massive synth and a cool lil drum machine called Drumatic. I'm gonna work on some Dnb/jungle loops too post up soon tho. ;) peas!
good shit brotha. been lookin into massive over the past couple days, looks pretty sick i'll have to give it a go. lemme know when the loops are up man, always good to get some new material in!
it's all good bruv. DnB is hard stuff, that's why it's fun!!! With the speed of the tunes running 160-170 bpm there's a ton room for playing around with drum breaks and what not.
What sorta synth you using on this stuff? or drum machine? I love jungle too, so passing on ideers and tips is just the ticket! ;)
haha very true man, who doesnt love a bit of a challege eh? just workin with the 3xOsc in FL for the reeces n sub. and usin whatever sample packs i can grab online at the mo. anythin good u can recommend?

Fusion rather than much hardcore. But its a good track, reminds me of fruity loops tho :P, with the arpeggiate.
Good job though, class track
