use fruity low pas filter and edit the cutoff knob.
you can get it to go 2 steps, 4 steps etc so you can get your wobble moving about

Cool track, and really unique! It's kind of creepy, but maybe I'm just too sober.

I'm just listening on PC speakers and it just sounds like distortion not too much clipping. If there is any, it may be from encoding to mp3. I find normalizing to about 97% before encoding helps avoid most of that.

Its nice, but I dont think its one of my favorites. I much prefer the bassline that comes in at 1:44, thats lovely, but im undecided about the trancey background. But it sounds well produced as usual :)

Another classic case of not even through listening to the track and dropping a review. My teeth are currtntly chattering and my nose itching. The wobbles are taking controll of my body. I hope your not sattisfied just yet; it still needs some work. I would take my time with this one, i'm sure it will be a big hitt with the ladie speaker freakers. Do those even exist anymore. ha ha. Anyone got a binky ha ha ha ha

I hadnt seen this one before? Its pretty cool man. What synth did you use for the beginning bassline? I really like it. Good idea man. But im staying off the K for now.

;)

Oh by the way, it doesnt clip on mine either. Guess you just need a decent sub people!

Birdy replied Unknown
its one called NWSynth, not sure where i got it from but its brilliant.
and im staying near the K atleast.

i think u shud keep the snare as it is i like the reverb u have on it. the 'twinkly' sounds need something though, maybe some glitchyness or some distortion i dunno, theyr just too bright they dont really fit. i dont think u should take them out just fuck with them a little id say. that said, decent track bro, doesnt really need alot done to it, peAce.

I do like it, Personally i would redo or get rid of the twinkly sounds, i just dont think they fit. and the snare should be more of a clap i reckon. But the bassline is very nice :)
Birdy
Birdy replied Unknown
thanks, yeah i was thinking about replacing the twinkly bits with the plucky noise towards the end, keep that goin throughout.

This is the first ive ever heard of dubstep and I like it. Im thinking about doing a 16 bar verse, 8 bar hook, 16 bar verse. Dont know if thats the correct format for dubstep but let me know when you get a chance.
Birdy
Birdy replied Unknown
that would be fine, i dont know too much about MCing so feel free to put what ever you want on it, just let me know when youre done so i can hear the result :D

Nicely balanced mix, I understand the bass being up front. I will definitely want to keep this in my faves. Not my usual genre of listening, but very mind opening.

Nice pad...I don't think you should pan it though...maybe keep the bass and pads central and pan like your toms and hats...the beat it is ill though...love the key sounds...definitely chilly like ice...keep it moving...UK stand up!

problem is if i dont pan it the first bass you hear distorts all the drums. i might try puttin the bass in the middle and splitting everything else.

I am really digging the track. The strings that come in appx 1:35 need something, I cannot figure out what. But the track and style are pimp! Good job!

good song, I turned this one up as soon as the bass kicked in :) I think you need to put the reverb onto the first lot of samples, if your going to use them all throughout the rest of the song i just feel it needs to be balanced. But its a good bassline man, very good.
