Nice introduction mate...you should have a look at Reason...definitely worth it...Love the bass and snares in this on...and I looove the radar blips...keep it moving cuzzie...
Woah - did someone put mushrooms inthe christmas pudding??
Fat bass and Fat beats, the best present! Like it a lot man, wicked bass as everyone says, get to work fixing those levels and this will be awesome... keep it up man!
I really like the bassline, I didn't really like the second vocal sample, it seemed to throw me out of the chilled feeling, but that may have been what you were going for. Overall a very cool track.
Nice...would like to hear the bass a bit more...but it's nice still...agree with krunchie/whyspr about the break but you can always add that if you really want to...what did you use for the synth and bass? Synths sound like they're from Vanguard...
thanks for thoughts from everyone.. i can see what you mean now youve said it, why i love this site, something i couldnt see becomes so obvious. the synths are all vanguard and the bass is ex-096 and one called NWSynth.
Bo! This is deep...love this, the way the snares drop...pure energy boyyyy...nice bass, but it comes off a bit too loud...but this is some nice s*** you got here man...
I'm out of the loop on some of the genres, so I'm not up on Dub beats. Hell, I'm not even sure what Rave is, or means. But, I likes this all the same. I like your choice of sounds and the mix is good.
Hey man this is really good, im real into my dubstep id like to make some oneday but right now its just 2 far away from the angle im on. anyway, in my opinion dubstep should be as minimal as possible without getting boring, this is bang on. ill give your other tracks a listen and tell u what i think in a while im short on time at the moment. this gets a fav from me.
cheers bro
i was trying to make the rest of it with faster basslines, catchier beats, i guess more poppy. the only thing i dont like about dubstep is you cant rave to most of it, so i was going for something you can rave too. cos we all love to rave ;)
thanks for the kind words on this one anyway
i made it on a shitty set of speakers and when i got it on my normal ones i realise what you mean. have added some sub bass to it now because i really want it to rumble, will have to upload the newer version
do film makers really mind, if its not going to be released? i spose its in the public domain just by being on this site but still.. seems a bit harsh.
thanks for your review
Nice Birdy,
There is something so weird and cool about a female reading a children story to the beat of a bizarre industrial sounding rhythm, great idea. Your girlfriend has a nice speaking voice too, I love the accent. Wait, you aren't the ones with accents, you talk the way English is supposed to be spoken, it is just because I am American and I subconsciously think anyone that knows how to talk right has a fancy accent =}
How the heck do you manage to amplify your music so much without causing unwanted distortion?
well the language isnt called english for no reason.. haaha
i find if your careful with the cut levels on the basses, and make sure that you twiddle it on full volume, then at any volume you wont get distortion.
i find it kinda wierd listening to that track though, hearing my girlfriend talking like a fat middle aged man when the vox decends :D

Right.
There.
Fav.
lol.. I listened to this with HEADPHONES. And it was fucking ace. Like straight up.
Perhaps do the monitor mix, the itunes/winamp/zune/whateverthehell mix, and the headphone mix... see how this sounds on each...

The drums are slightly off on speed, the beats are slamming over each other.
Nightmare is the vox preset from FL too.
But good enough track.
Not too keen on it tho bro.

Does'nt even make my speakers vibrate haha,
Good track though.
And the film makers would object to it, I've been warned already, by looperman moderators.
