This is pretty cool thing. Personally
- I'd add rich pad(s) and synth line sometimes,
- would copy the nice bass line, add FXes (Filters, stereo, phaser/flanger, etc) and periodically play along with the current,
- add more of 180-220hz to snare.
- switch hats line from time to time.

Uh uh, not your usual hip hop, sounds like maybe one of those trippy genres, trance? Idunno, but it's pretty cool! Voices add a bit of flavor :-)

This is great firstly. But how do you mix and add different sounds to the track to give it variety?

Birdy replied 4th Mar 2012 - 13 years ago

I like this, those synths sound fine to me, nice work. Just check your incoming synths at about 150 and again at 220. All good though .

wow, that wobble is damn filthy, but i think the "are you ready?!" is a bit to loud. all in all as expected a very good track.

Awesome track bro, love the beginning baseline, the synth work and killer wobble-bass!! In the beginning, I would turn the snare & the first synth up just a little bit more. For the second drop, If it were me, I would either take the pitch of all the synths up or down a few notches so the 2nd half of the song has a different feel/vibe too it or, I would take the notes used in the main synths and create a few different synths with VST's...just to beef it up a little....just suggestions, quite frankly, I like it as it is, good work!!

Glad to have finally discover some classic sounding dub-step. Everything works well together in this track. Glad Spiv posted a link to your song on the Rave For The Golden Age forum. I really like the Dub in this track. Big ups to ya!

Glad to finally be directed to this. Rootz Dubstep, and a great example of why the genre has become so popular.

Awesome stuff.
