I really liked this track! Minimal and retro. Just the way I like it! :) You introduced little touches of variation just frequently enough to keep up my interest throughout, without detracting from the feel of the track from the repeated synth bass line.
I think the vocal is Harrison Ford in "Clear and Present Danger". He's looking at satellite imagery of a terrorist training camp in North Africa someplace. Am I right? Do I win something if I am? :)
Nice intro, sets the scene for the rest of the track, could see this in a bond type film or car chase theme, sounding great on laptop, which has decent speakers, a good sign that track is mixed and levels are good, no idea what the vocals are but you have used them very well in the mix, track has a very nice drive with the beat and bass lines...very enjoyable listen mate...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...PS good to drop first review lol...
very well mixed - everything nice and clear. '80s style is fun. very musical also. great to hear at 3:13 intro of a new synth and maybe at 4:00 also. keeping it fresh. nice use of vocal 'hit' "music" nice work.
You might as well have put it in the "disco" genre with a title like that. I've been drinking a bit and listening to music recently, something i don't usually do. I smoke more than i drink and with drinking it kind of delays the music a bit. I'm sure it only sounds like this because I'm a bit tipsy, just sounds spaced out. I like your other track much more because it really sounded like it could of been on SSX 3. But this one has a well done groove, can definitely dance to it. Alright lemme stop this review here before I start talking nonsense. Great work bro, like the guitar like riff later on too. peace
"Alright lemme stop this review here before I start talking nonsense."...oops, too late! LOL
hey, thx gramo for the listen. I think i'll put this in disco although it's not really disco...i dont know what it is, lol
I'm glad you liked my other track so much. I'll have to put that track on an old skool greatest hits album :)
Mate very nice work on this one, which is something I have come to expect from your tunes, always a pleasure to the listener, listening to this one on laptop and it is sounding excellent, have to agree with FR comment about your retro style, you have it sorted brilliantly...Can not fault this piece in anyway matey...Massive FAV...Peace n much Respect dude...Mosaic...
Hey, thx for the listen and comment my friend. always appreciate your input. I'm still trying to find my sound but i'm getting a better idea of what i want. obviously far from perfection but i think i'm improving and getting closer.
Hey RW,
80´s rules again sounds reminds me of h.hancock, paul hardcastle and kraftwerk ,nice put together, enjoy to listen and travel back to the 80´s,nice done Mate, keep on,DRO
K, this is getting creepy now. I figured bots are programmed to automatic download, but I thought maybe a required comment would stop them. I guess not :/
Interesting... this is the first time I've required a comment to able to download. How did i know Remikun downloaded my track before I even looked? lol
On my second helping of this now and i love that lead. I have an idea for a breakbeat remix of this if you're up for it? I could jam this tune all night.
FR
This track is awesome it def reminds me of 80's style probably because of the synth and the drum kit. Very interesting line up of sounds. Although I do have to agree with cyber loam on 3:50 and on. To me it's the extra lead that kind of throws of the whole song, but then again that would be a great chance to start another song and link them up. Anyways nice job man!!!!
Thx for the listen and comments. I was actually wondering if the 1st comment about the last part would set off more comments about it. I'll have to take your opinion at face value and not assume you were influenced by someone else's opinion. The last part was meant to be an extended outro, numerous songs have sections sounding nothing like the main track. And I didn't even stray too far, I thought anyway. Something to think about for sure. Thx again for the comments.
Ha, this is great! I am seem to know that whenever I see a new track from you that it will be something I love, and you have nailed that assumption once again. This is so fresh I love it! Sweet deal man, sweet deal :)

Wow, thx Charlene. What can i say, you make me blush :/
I try to make music a little different and upbeat. Just kinda fun i guess. Thx again for the kind words :)
You've definitely nailed down that retro 80's sound. I don't know if you were there or not, but you've captured the spirit, that's for sure.
I'd like to leave a more detailed comment, but at the moment my environment is not conducive to focusing on details. Mainly, I just wanted to let you know that I feel your ability to capture the vibe of the era where I spent a good portion of my youth is on par, and always a good listen.
So, thanks for that! Keep it up! Once I have the ability to give this track the attention it deserves, I'll come back and review it with more attention to the details.
Until then, take care.

Thx ValVe. I think you already know how I like your music and respect your opinion so I appreciate the comment. I realize my strength and weaknesses in producing but I embrace them and try to work within them. I'm getting a better idea of the music I want to produce so hopefully I can pull it off :)
I like your retro stylee and i swear it gets better with every track you produce. Nobody does retro quite like Renz Wilde and this track is a fine example of that. The bassline is wicked and the ARP's a cool. Nice touch with the vocoded "music" sample with some cool lazer drums as well. Loving the drum loops as well, those tops are wicked.
Another cool track from you.

Wow, you make me blush FR, haha. I think i'm starting to realize what kind of tracks I want to produce. I realize the production is exactly hi-fi, but I'm getting a better idea of what kind of music and sound I am going for. I'm embracing the retro, lo-fi sound and leaning towards minimal, groove based rhythms. Thats what I hear in my head anyways, LOL
Thx again for the comments FR. I think you know how I appreciate your input.
Thx crucethus. I had Kraftwerk in mind (when dont I? ha) but I didn't set out to duplicate. It was just the way I approached the sound, more raw than polished I guess you can say. I didn't think the end result sounded anything like them either...that might be still yet to come :)
Thx again cruce, always glad to hear you thoughts.
Hello there! A very enjoyable track to my ears! Definitely reminiscent of some vintage stuff. Not my usual listening preference any more, but it hasn't been that long so I remember. Really dig the sound around 2:55! Gets pretty groovy after that too, sweet percussion! You were asking about the mix/master, and I don't hear anything glaringly obvious that is wrong with it. Definitely not hearing clipping, and by the look of the waveform, you might even have a touch of headroom in there. Yes, very cool track! Thank you for telling me about it! Fave!
i can say intro synth really sounds like Kraftwerk! track i great! especially my favourite part from 3.03! luv those beats plus "little banging bass" :) then clap fits there perfectly!
part from 3.50 is not so good honestly, it sounded for me like a different track started and the original ended... all in all the track from 0.00 till 3.50 is awesome!
Grooving remix here Renz. Nice switch with the snare and subtle usage with the vocals. Great electric sounding synth towards the ending. And that pad like ambiance at the end..that would of been nice to expand upon. Or you could use it for another song. Just throwing some ideas. Great remix bro, peace
Really cool track, RW. I don't listen to this style much, but thought I'd chime in and offer my kudos! Your mix is really tight and clear, allowing all instruments to project well...Good Job!
