Hahaaa I'm stone cold sober you'll be happy to know.
I don't actually drink very often but when I do it mixes with my heavy medication (Pentadol) and I'm high as a kite and wobbling all over the place!
Don't even remember coming on here that night but ... I have come to expect only quality from you and you haven't disappointed yet Orlando.
Another fine piece and to me sounds very cinematic.
Very clean and professional as always.
As for piece in Europe ... I suspect Germany is going to tell America to shove it soon regarding the way they are being forced to treat Russia and Putin ... I certainly hope so but that's not for here goodnight and God bless.
Haha, mate, don't bother on my thoughts about drinking! As a
matter of fact I have nothing against drinking, especially when it doesn't hurt anyone too much. I think life would be boring without a drink..that's my honest opinion...I just think you shouldn't mix it too much with your medication...but then again I won't judge, it's completely your bussiness afterall.
Thanks for the positive feedback again and I raise my glass(without Pentadol) to you my friend!:)
I can't really hear many genres in here. It just sounds like one. I was expecting some mad changes or genres crossovers but there are none.
Anyway: what is here is classic, haunting ambient chillout. Nice, evolving lead shimmering pad work. Sounds mostly like a single synth sound that arrives on 0:50 and then continues to the end.
It's a very consistent track that sits comfortably and doesn't really move off in any other directions. That works well for spacious chillout rather than my typical style of jumping around here, there and everywhere.
Ahh...those genres...let's just don't talk about genres...but it's my fault ofcourse....in fact I just wasn't sure whether to put this under ambient, chill out, cinematic etc. It could be anything of these, so that was what I ment.
Yeah...you're right, this doesn't go anywhere left or right or up and down, it's just strictly focused on a same type of impression throughout...it was already in the plan.:)
Anyways, thanks alot for taking a listen and comment....much appreciated!
Mate amazing piece of work, just brilliant, so much emotion worked together into this piece, taking you on a journey of hardship...Nearly would say this is my fav piece of yours so far...If not it is right up at the top of the list...MASSIVE fav mate...One of the best piece's heard on the loop in a long while...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, John Williams, and now Orlando...great, great composition!!!!!
There is nothing to critique here. There is simply a stunning, heartfelt composition that was well thought out, and executed even better.
I have nothing worthy to say, so the best I can do is add it to favorites, download it for future reference and enjoyment, thank you for your generosity, and stand and applaud.
I'm so grateful for this review , Barry, so generous and positive...this piece is getting some recognition here on LM that I wouldn't expect....thank you so much!;)
Really cool track, I thought you were gonna do a sort of jean michel jarre kinda thing going by the intro, but I like how it went to a down tempo trip hop-ish vibe. Full of nice and pleasing sounds, great collab well done!
This is full of feeling and emotion. After reading he description, you can't help but "zone out" into the world of imagining leaving behind your homeland while you listen! Well done!
As an Italian who has moved to America, I feel like you've captured the essence in its full. Loving the use of the strings as a call and response in some parts. Your picture of a heart with sadness and hope is one beautifully painted in this piece. Keep doing what you are doing because it is stunning.
much has already been said about this one Orlando...and rightly so...it is indeed exceptional...epic....inspirational....cinematic..thoughtfully composed...expertly arranged...and masterfully played...besides, the production is top notch too....I think that about covers it and thats my honest opinion my friend...Ed
Thank you so much my friend for another supportive comment!
You can imagine how hungry of making music I was after that long blackout and I think now I'm much closer to the former strenghts with this composition. I'm glad you have so much positive to say about it....I always trust your opinion!:)
Also big thanks for the 'fav'...truly appreciated!
I absolutely love the vibe of this one. It reminds me of those 1900 themed movies. I believe your small description fits well with this track. The sounds you came up with creates a very emotional vibe throughout the base of the track. With the right film to accompany it, this song could become a masterpiece no one will ever forget. Even though it does that quite well on it's own.
Very cinematic and dramatic sound. Love the violin part in it. When reading the story behind this song I would say you captured the fear and hope very well.
The only reason I moved away from the speakers for this one was that my kitty was heading towards the fresh vinigrette, but then I was back in the seat. I really enjoyed the texture of the piece. The movies which influenced are not exactly my thing, but I can appreciate the feeling behind it. I have to wonder how much of the poverty in that area is due to the mafia, and how much has to do with morality which encourages overpopulation. But it's the mercury retrograde, so I won't dig to deep into that conversation! Any way, the composition and mixing are top notch on this song, and you've done great!
Hi Spiv! I really appreciate your time spent for something which you're not quite into (certain music styles or movies etc.)and you're always so kind and friendly to say a word or two when my new track comes out....really precious and noble attitude! Thank you alot for that!
Not yet, Joe...haha...I'm still miles away from that level...
Movie makers should rely on kickass composers which I'm not.
For now the most important is that you enjoyed my music and that's a real privilege to me. Thank you so much for that and for this lovely comment!:)

It has a grand, sweeping epic feel to it. Very cinematic and the violin work is great.
Lots of elements all intertwining very skilfully in such a way that it's hard to work out which instrument is doing what. Lots of beauty and depth.
Sounds pretty much like pro soundtrack work.
Doesn't need any drums.
A short review from me because it's hard to go into detail on this one.
Big congrats.

Do you work as a composer for movies?????
This one sounds like direct taken from a film or just like special maked for a movie. WOW!
With this talent you can help many moviemakers to lift there work up.
Very cool one. I enjoyed the listen and the music touched in a way my heard and thats something very special.
Exelent piece of music!
