Description : Another entry for a soundtrack to a movie that's never been made. I envisioned some sort of hostage situation when I created it....have fun with it, what do you think of when you hear it?
Description : my attempt at a cinematic piece. has some electronic elements because it was inspired by the daft punk song solar sailer from the tron soundtrack. it turned out way longer than i want it. the full version is about 14 minutes so i cut it short and lowered the quality to fit on looperman. please leave critical reviews of what i have so far. thanks. 70bpm
Description : THIS SONG IS THE CRY OF A LADY WHOSE LORD HAS BEEN TAKEN AWAY.
Muzic: 520's "Of Sorrow" track. Production: shortbusmusic. Mr. bear's idea here was to try to replicate a live performance in a big hall, kudos! 520's cinematic track, absolutely beautiful, needed nothing added...but...me being me...Enjoy.
Description : Rafting theme for Sami documentary film.
Volume is mixed down.
Lars Levi Læstadius (January 10, 1800 - February 21, 1861) was a Swedish Lutheran pastor of partly Sami ancestry.
Laestadius was invited by the French Admiralty to participate in the La Recherche Expedition of 1838-40. He was recognized for his knowledge in botany and of the Sami languages that the expedition would undertake. Laestadius was a field guide for the islands and in the interior of Northern Norway and Sweden, studying both plant life and the culture of the Sami inhabitants for the expedition. During this project and long afterward, Laestadius started his manuscript Fragments of Lappish Mythology which described a snapshot of the Sami traditional religious beliefs that were passing into history due to the Christianization program in full swing at that time
Description : A cinematic bit I did that conjoured up images of of night time in a far east desert where betrayal is abound. Another effort on a soundtrack to a movie never made...

Description : the indian flute makes a welcome return in this one - it's more a conversation than a tune. i used a slow beat - which stops and goes at abrupt intervals. i've also used a very 'synthetic' analog voice in the back (doubling as the bassline).
just felt like messing around and this girl showed up on the pc screen.
Description : This is a serious work in progress. I dug it out from the deepest depths of my PC. It wants to be 'done' - but I feel stuck somehow. So drop me line with your suggestions and comments - would love to have 'Nova' grow into something stellar!
See it as a journey beyond the stars ... but also a journey within yourself.
Thanks for taking the time to listen - looking forward to the feedback !

Description : idk why but i thought id make something a little "heroic" sounding. im not sure i might add guitar to it, or i might put it up for download and let someone throw in their own guitar trax. id really like to see what everyone thinks about that idea or any new ideas anyone else wants to throw in. =]
Description : I start it off with some Pygmies chanting... and then load it up on the "Epic" beats from PlanetJazzbass. (Thanks!)
I threw in some tremolo strings and a French horn, which reminds me a lot of "Putting the damage on" by Tori Amos off the "Boys For Pele" album.
I can go on and on about the subject matter for days. As always, I get to say here what I haven't the nerve/courage/balls to say in real life. He won't know it's about him.
Description : Seeking to find shelter, but you will not find it through the dark caverns in front of you. Only one way to get where you need to go...over the Cliffs of Mordor... to be continued...
Description : i'm falling deeper
than even i know
this hill is steeper
i cannot go
to the summit of our love
it's all that i've been dreaming of
deeper
i'm falling deeper
in love with you
slowly, slowly
you'll feel it too
deeper into the sky
blue as the light in your eyes
the light in your eyes
you take me hand
you touch my palm
you read the stories in my heart
you are the moon
and the stars
falling deeper
i'm falling deeper
deeper
deeper
i'm hanging on for dear life
seize the final light
the amber glow
behind your eyes
the fortress wall
cannot subside
deeper
deeper
deeper
inside
Description : This is sort of an homage song. To me it represents a perspective of the world through visuals and audio visuals, much like the excellent documentaries Koyaanisqatsi & Naqoyqatsi.
Life flashes before our eyes and we get to choose the soundtrack. Mine would be something like this track. Something old, something new, something catchy, something abrasive and always on the move.
Thank you always to all the Looperman.com members for allowing me to use your samples, without them I couldn't express myself in such a satisfying way.
The loops and samples were:
Prison Stuff - Buzz
Pad1_65bpm
Power_loop
Drumloop scene wzor 97bpm
Staccato Strings in G-G7-C-Cm
Upright Bass Blues Progression in F_-E-B-F
Piano w/ Guitar in F -C Dsharp - Asharp x2 (one with echo)
