Description : This is one of my more recent tracks, which I did back in November. Essentially, I wanted to do an '80s cop drama song, with the grizzled detective out on the bluffs at sunset, thinking about the good times with his partner, and then driving off to kill the men who took his partner away.
The beat is a pre-programmed loop in Session. Everything else is me on my M-Audio keyboard controller. Haven't put it through EQ, but I may leave it as is. Let me know.

Ah sorry man, I didn't see this before the site went down. I'm glad you like it, and yeah, I guess I'll be opening everything for download after I get done typing this reply. Hope you still decide to use it when weather permits going back out.

Cheers.

I like how you laid out the scene for this track. It helps to understand the mood of the two parts of this song. The first part being sad and retrospective, and then a nice transition into the action part of the track. This reminds me of some music that I use to hear on some of the SuperNES Games. I don't know if I would touch the EQ on this track that much if any. The second half of this track has a victorious sound to it. Nice emotions that you conveyed through this song.

Thanks, man. This was one of two songs that stemmed from an unusual idea. This one has been well-received so far, but I'm not sure the other one would be as liked. This is my "What if I did '80s cop drama?" The other is "How 'bout a song where a kid gets bored in church?" That one even has iPod clicks.

Well composed piece, my friend, I like it very much. You definitely possess some skills.

Great sound.. The bass was shaking the light above my station.
I'm guessing that around 1:40, you go after the Bas*ard that killed your partner.. I agree with cody about the imagery.. I can almost see your angry face popping the trunk on your car, revealing a cache of scary weapons and a Kevlar vest.

cinematic indeed..

Heh, I need to get speakers like yours! :)
And I never pictured the weapons in the trunk, but that's very cool. Thanks alot!
