This is a nice mix of rap and what to me is like almost 80s rock. I see your driven by your beliefs, which to me, always somehow leads to great music. This track is very raw, its like being in a garage listening to you guys vibe. Great work, the hook is a relaxing contrast. Loving that guitar to, its fresh.
Keep doing you man, this is refreshing.
Hey thanks for that review. That was 1 of the first ones that i wrote. That was sorta experimental wit just the one guitar and the zoom mrs 1044.At this stage im working wit ableton live 8.Its a bit mind boggleling but im hoping to have some new sounds on loopys soon and u r right, iam driven by my beliefs. It brings unknown music styles out of me.Thanks Bro
a lot of passion in your music, your lyrics. i feel your devotion, and it's very cool when it is expressed in a contemporary genre like this rap and these beats. it flows beautifully - i can keep on listening - for me it is always a balance between keeping that groove up but bringing in enough variation to maintain interest. you get that. congrats
criticism? well - i'd have to listen 1 more time - but a completely contrasting section can be very effective - like "bringing down" the band, so you can bring it up again. just throwin it out there. peace.
Midi,u r absolutely right about the contrast.I wasnt to sure about the instrumental ending as more could ave been added to the blank.I was only trying to make the 4 minute barrier.Im new to this game when it comes producing the sound that i want to put out there so your criticism helps me improve as i dont know how to read or write music, but play by ear.Im hoping to have a new and improved sound when i get tne ableton suite 8 into motion.I value ur review. Thanks Midi
Hey John, thanks 4 that review.im glad u liked it.We do focus on the message but camouflage it with a good rhythm and a repetitive chorus in order to get it out there. Thanks for dat bud.
Description : After 6 months, i turned into Sister Nancy and bam bam bam my plants grew like my inspiration. i try to get better with my mixes. Im feeling like i never find my eq balance on vox.
Description : I wrote this song about 25 years ago; a feel good Christmas song of my own.
Using 3 part harmonies during the verse and 5 part harmonies during the chorus; 2 and 3 part acoustic guitar harmonies during the "solo".
I am performing all except for Apple drum loops.
Done in the style of Country.
Description : Gospel track sung by Patricia Edwards.I had remixed this with a verse by Lacrae. I pulled the verse but thought to upload the track anyhow. Maybe some Looper will drop a verse in it. Feel free to use on the condition to drop me a link and respect Patricia's, no commercial use clause.

Description : This hymn, (also known as the Navy Hymn), was my wife’s grandmother’s favourite hymn. Wasn’t familiar with it. The Wikipedia article had an arrangement which I used for this track. Harmony is not my work, but the orchestration is. Made the track more as an exercise in exploring harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration. I realize this is not anything close to the norm of tracks here on Looperman, but it’s always good to stir things up a bit, right?
