Description : This song was made around the same time as, ' A Misty Dream.' This was actually track number six of a series of songs that I compiled on a personal album titled, 'A Misty Dream." This song is all sample based. The title is open to your interpretation, as to what kind of rendezvous this music is playing along to.

Has a kind of romantic edge but in a cool way

Very Boards of Canada IMO and therefore I like it. Nice sounds used that all work well in conjunction. Bass is great. A real interesting journey that on first listen could go in many directions. Great stuff.

ps - a dwnld from me.

Thanks for the review! I've heard of Boards of Canada. The really cool thing is that I've never really heard their music until your review. I like meaningful coincidences, and I think this is one of those. Thanks for the compliment of such a comparison.

Really enjoyed this piece. More upbeat and moving than most Ambient stuff. Love the beat/bass and the floating percussions. Very nice composition. It gets you like into a trance with it.
Thought maybe it could use a pad in it a bit more throughout. I really loved the sound you brought in at 1:54 and 6:25!
great work yo

Woah, it's something between ambient and dancing track. If you would listen to this track to something else, than headphones, the bass would smash you against a wall. ;D
But it's sweet, easy and interesting. great track!

toddj replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

That would be cool. I have never played this tune on a large sound system. I would love to play some of my songs on some large speakers. I think you could places this song in a number of different categorizes. I guess you could make new genre called ambient dance. I always find it hard to stick to any certain style. Thanks for listening and giving it a review.
