Description : Made this track using Reason4. I focused on making a fairly complex melody that I used throughout the song. Not your typical trance song.. Feedback would be excellent! Thanks everyone.

*Edit* No more ping pong effect due to popular demand. =]

I have not heard this song with that ping pong effect.

But still I like this song. It's dope.

Instruments make the song different.
Faved this one.

Respect

Thank you very much! Yeah, I'm considering putting the ping pong back in..but only in certain parts of the song. This one still needs a lot of work to be done with it. Glad you enjoyed it!

Fun beat. Very well put together. Good production. Nice work

Influx replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks, mate! Appreciate it.

Leo2789 14th Dec 2010 22:29 - 15 years ago

Nice one =)
indeed not your ''usual'' trance song, but very nice =)
loved the xylophone like Asian sounding instrument xD

Keep it up ;)

Influx replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks man! Yeah, I really went for the Asian feel for this song. Also rushed the production quite a bit.. Not nearly as complex/thought out as my latest track. Glad you liked it though! Cheers!

Like this one too but Maybe chill on the panning of the bell.Or slow the panning.I think that melody would shine more with a stereo separation to keep it wide an take of the panning.

Influx replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I've already gotten rid of the panning, just need to re-upload ;]

Mrbillionx 25th Nov 2010 16:24 - 15 years ago

A bit heavy ping ponging the sound about.
as for the tune itself I would guess its ok still seems lacking
something that would make me want to replay it again.

ping pong effect is not selling it for me.

Influx replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Yeah I see where you're coming from. The ping pong thing was mainly just a test to get more acquainted with reason. I posted up a new track that might be more enjoyable for you (no raging pong game). Thanks for the input

koble 23rd Nov 2010 21:03 - 15 years ago

Hot track. Very catchy Influx. Not exactly Trance I agree. A bit of Electro and almost a House beat. Very good stuff. The vibraphone is nice and the ping pong effects make it more interesting.

Influx replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Hey, thanks a lot man! Yeah, I loved the ping pong sound in there. Makes my head spin when i use headphones :P Glad you liked it. Always nice to hear your input, Koble. Cheers!

bmw2000uk 23rd Nov 2010 12:22 - 15 years ago

i love what you did with the sound, flicking left to right, that sounds fantastic on headphones. still not master how to do that yet haaaa.

Great melody track, sounds a touch of Asia.

Good job

Peace...

Influx replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thank you very much. Yeah, I was going for a touch of oriental in there :D

Beyond 23rd Nov 2010 07:48 - 15 years ago
