Description : So this is a remake of the first track I ever made electronically called Without Honor.
I gave it a relisten recently and was fairly unimpressed with myself so here's me trying to give it a total reworking.

I call it dub, but if you stick around long enough it won't stay that way.

As always the biggest thing this track needs is some serious mastering... Still working on an itouch, so it's a bit difficult, especially with only a pair of headphones to run it through. If you can offer SPECIFIC advice as to what levels need tweaking that would be fantastic.

Thanx as always

    Hey matey

Liking this piece, nice beat and good use of percussion, only little thing for me was the intro is little slow and flat but when rest of tracks in it is really great, has a nice light refreshing sound your mix, clarity of the mix in whole is good, liking the synths you used, also thought I heard a couple of midi files working well in the mix...Good listen, thank you for sharing your tune...Peace n Respect...Estefano...

Thanks for the review! I guess I only consider it partially a dub track, but I like the idea about the minimal breakdown with some delay. I'll see with my Iphone, but I might have to wait until I get a better DAW... Right now I can only have 16 layers, and adding effects for only one part is a bit of a chore... Beatmaker is sorta designed for live production so sometimes that kinda stuff is hard. Glad you like the bass sound! I used an iphone app called Bassline, which is a pretty solid VSTI. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks... Even giving this one a relisten I realize it's very deserving of it's "version 1" title and needs some rearranging to make it pop. Glad you like though, gives me a reason to keep at it.

Yeah this is really chill Thanx, I like how you handled that perc, I think its a bit sluggy at times, but it grooves along. Its really constant, but I dig those little oreintal touches alot.
Whoaaa now it steps up haha, gets moving. Im liking this L:
Yeah this is fresh, I think it could have maybe moved up to this a bit quicker, like 4 or 8 bars quicker possibly.
But yeah that perc is fun, very rhythmic, nice concise ending.
    Enjoyed it :)
Im assuming youll continue this adventure of refining this track lol, quite the evolutional project.

sorry bout the long response, Great feedback. I'll totally move that change up a little sooner. I also kinda like where it picks up better too. I'm curious about what you mean by the "sluggy" sound. Like the BD I use? I'm definitely gonna use your suggestion... And if there's any chance I can still remix that track of yours I'd love to do so... I also wanna use that cello loop in another song if that's alright.

Description : Here is my most recent song, and one which I considered keeping under wraps until my album was released. With the Halloween thread, I thought this may be a chance to raise up the "funny ha ha" or "funny strange" vibe, and tuck under the nervous laughter. It was not made for this holiday or the related thread, but simply to express something which I think about regularly. I'm sure you'll get the impression!

Any masking, distortion or cross modulation is entirely intentional. This is, after all, intentional electronic brain manipulation.

Description : Here is my initial contribution to the Loop Challenge started by FreeRadical. Here's the thread; https://www.looperman.com/forum/thread/182711/loop-challenge Thanks to him and all that are getting involved! The full quality wave version is available here https://soundcloud.com/spivkurl/breaking-blue-16-master-c

I used all three loops given to me by M8TN -

All three were made by the excellent MrRobot! I ended up using this track as an opportunity to try out the Parallel Killer Guitar that I finished putting together not long ago. These are amongst the first recordings of the guitar. So I guess this turned out like what I would call "hard dub" or maybe it's just dub-glitch... totally not dubstep...heh. I was going for a tape recorded feel on this one for the most part. Hope you enjoy it!

Description : Here is the long overdue "culmination" of a collaboration between Promenade2239 and myself. Not too long ago he uploaded an inspiring finished version based on this song idea, and it is located here... https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/171320

Included here is Promenade on synthesizers and samples, as well as quite a bit of rhythmic, vocal and arrangement manipulation. The vocals and guitars (classical and electric) were recorded by me, and I did some synthesis and the initial drum loops.

We spent a lot of time and effort developing the idea together. This became especially apparent when I gathered all of the stems I wished to incorporate into this version, and they totalled 85! All in all, it was an extremely valuable experience for me, and I learned so many things (even about myself).

Please leave your comments if you have any, and I will try to reply as I get caught up! Thank you for listening!
