"Imagine yourself in an open field. Your completely fed up with your life & society. No matter how hard you try to be a good person, it just seems to come back around & hit you harder. You look up into the stars wondering if there is a place that isn't so corrupt by it's own species. You think to yourself, 'maybe somewhere out there, there is a place that would bring any man to tears if layed eyes upon because it's so beautiful'. Your desire is so strong, your mind begins to unbalance everything. Physics, laws of nature, everything that goes against what any human could possibly do, you slowly begin to levitate & after realizing that you now possess the power to go where ever you want, you take a small moment to remember your life & really decide if you want to leave this planet. Finally, you make the decision, you stare up into the night sky & finally...You blast off." - Gilbert

Description : I wanted to create something dark and romantic with an RnB and retro wave touch. This song has a retro futurism feel to it. I was inspired by The Weeknd when I was writing this song, especially his first mixtape, House Of Balloons, hence the deep roamntic analogies in the songwriting. I have sung this song myself and produced it too. No AI used here. This is an old song.
