..hello kerry (my daughter's name too!)..very nice effort for being 'new' to making music..i agree with some of the earlier comments in many respects..whenever you are working with nature sounds..water, rain and wind in particular, it's best to keep the velocities down and work up..they can cut through quite easily..you've a lovely voice and i'd like to hear you more up front..all in all a pretty if melancholy song..love to hear more from you..all the best..cait

You have a very nice voice. I think what you need to work on the most is equilization. I don't mean track effects; I mean getting every track to be the same volume, or maybe lower volumes so that the background doesn't override your vocals. I have a very hard time hearing you over the rain sound effects in the song. I really like the lyrics and the overall mood of the song. It takes a lot of talent to sing with Midi and have it sound decent, let alone this good. I look forward to seeing you make more music :)

Hi Kerry. Wonderful piece, indeed a sad song.
Sounds like you have to be careful with the gain settings when you record (on the "gooo away"), the sound begins to distort. But as I said it's a good song and the voice is nice.
