Description : Simple little rock ditty featuring Takamine guitar (hence the title of the song).

Loops: freebie Takamine chug from the web.
VSTi's: DVS Electric Guitar; DVS Acoustic Guitar; FPC drums.
SF2: Cris's Finger Picked Bass.

Still wish I could find a great female vocalist to lay some rhymes on these tunes.

You know man, I have a dream... I would like to make a trip, for a long time now: I would like to cross Nevada with a good Harley... When I started your track, no matter where I was really, my saoul was in that place!!!

Thanks man, thanks for this journey :)

Thank you for the kind words, Kelvin. I ride myself, so a lot of my tracks have that sort of "road" feel to 'em, I guess. Glad you enjoyed the tune, bro, and I hope you get to make that trip some day.

Peace,

Spyder

Yet another excellent track. You certainly accomplished yopur goal of taking something great and making it better. You have the genre down to a science. Everything I've listened to so far has demonstrated great knowledge, however intuitive it might be, of theory and the ability to turn that theory into high quality compositions.

I will be listening to more :-)

All The Best

Again, thank you, John, for listening and reviewing.

I just got a new DuoCore computer a couple of weeks ago, so now I've got the processing power to do what I really want to do. I also just downloaded some new awesome guitar and bass SoundFonts and a bundle of VST vocal processors, so I'm getting much closer to the sound of a "real" band now. I'm pretty close to completion on four or five new tracks which are f*ckin' kickass. And I've been teaching myself music theory, so I think my new tracks are going to take a few people by surprise...

Peace,

Spyder

i love how you hone in on that riff and stomp it to life/s

Yeah, my composition theory is to start with something good and try to make it progressively better as the song goes on. Doesn't always work, but that's what I attempt to do. Since this song started out with a great riff, it wasn't hard to flesh it out a bit by emphasizing certain elements. Glad you liked it...

As always, thanks for the listen and review ~ I do appreciate it, bro.

Peace,

Spyder

Description : "Celebrate the Cornerstone," penned by Kay Matteson, John Matteson, and Richard Shekari, is an uplifting contemporary worship song that beautifully encapsulates themes of salvation and divine love. Drawing from biblical imagery, the lyrics highlight Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone—initially rejected but ultimately essential to faith.
