Description : I heard this song by Frenchkid and wished I had played guitar on it,so with his blessing I did. This is not really a collaboration since it is all his original song and mix,I just added guitar. It was a pleasure to do this.Be sure to visit Frenchkid if you haven't already,he is very talented!
Thanks,
Allen

hello my friend,
Thank you so much! This was my first attempt adding guitar to another Looper artist's track.
It was so fun to do and came easy cause Frenchkid's song was so great and tailor made for some jazzy guitar.
Thank you for so much of your time John!
This was when I first joined and found this song on Frenchkids page..he was very active then and I was just wanting to play on something in this style.
I played and recorded it before contacting him and he graciously allowed me to upload it.
Thanks again Becca! This was one of the first I did after joining the site.If I hear a track that guitar may complement I try to do my best,I've said it before...it's a win win!
After listening to this track I will definitely add your name to my top 10 favorite guitarist. Seriously sir you have got...what they call...hmmmm....mad skills!! By the way Frenchkid has also done great job here. Very soothing track. Thanks.
Hey!. This is very nice and powerful, I can listening to it on a quite place and put me in a good mood!. Nice walking and neat Bass ... Funky Summer and crazy guitar on there!.
Had to have another listen of some more of your work. Beautiful string work there. Very clean sweeps. Awesome tone. Hope your not the plug and play types. That would kill me lol. Such sweet tone. Has a Steve Lukather kinda tone. Kinda hollow but still maintains a good mid and highs. Just gave it another listen. It's just great to hear it. Got a Al Pitrelli vibe the second go. Really cool stuff. Great collaboration. I gotta check out Frenchkid's stuff aswell. Made my night. Cheers and thanks for the tune :D
Thanks again for listening to my tunes.I've said this before but never enough...I really do listen to the"song"when collaborating,it doesen't matter how many licks or how can I make it all about guitar. In this situation,I was the guest and as so I feel my role is to complement that song...even if it means playing just 3 notes...as long as it's the right notes all is good.In a nutshell,if someone says"this song sounds great"we all win...If someone says"song wasn't good but you sound great"then I failed,I coulda just done a 3min solo and not messed up the track cause it was fine before I came along. The tone complement is the same way...What works for this song...no one size fits all.
Did I say i'm glad you liked it:)
Allen
Love it. Makes me feel as relaxed as I do when I smoke a ....... self rolled organically grown cigaratte or two. I like Frenchkid's tracks alot too. You two sound great together.
Gord

Thanks Estefano.I really wanted to play to this and knew it would pull it a little more to the jazz side.I just played along to his great track, sent it to him...kinda introducing myself,so I was pleased he allowed me to post it!
It makes it easy to do a good job when you start out with great material!
Thanks again.
Allen
just had to tell you again. this is amazing. if possible show as many people this track. this proves your talent. no one can deny your skills after this one. its hot!!!!
Chase,I almost turned the computer off, then checked my email! Thanks for both awesome reviews!I play so much rock and Frenchkids song was a nice chance to jazz it up,I been over and reviewed some of your stuff and I love it,Strangled ins.is a nice one, gotta get back over there.Oh,and let me know if I can do anything for you.I like your style.
Thank you for the mad skills comment, when I joined this site a month ago I heard a song on here and the first line said"I want you to get mad"so I didn't have a choice!
Really,I do appreciate it.
Allen
Oh, how sweet you play. Somewhere, in the back of my mind Al diMeola lingers – and you've got that warm sound and clean notes. (I myself often play distorted, it's more forgiving...) In short, excellent work. Fav. Again.
Thank you for the awesome complement, even to be mentioned in the same sentence as AD is more than expected and appreciated!I agree with the distortion comment...if only you knew how many times I played some of the parts to get it right.I don't know much about recording but I have learned the miracle of undo/redo and punch in/out and it still took me hours because as you know if your in the middle of a bended note or seamless passage and screw up even those tools can't always help you out,I just have to start over, and I did.I almost went with a Santana sound just so I could use distortion and slide into my comfort zone, but reviews like yours make the extra effort worth it.
Thanks again
Great stuff,sir!
I like the what you do, very original!
great work!
but the truth is I did not come just leave the review :D!
I have come to ask whether you would be able to put guitar on my new track ,its pop if you put a guitar then it will be rock!Lol

Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.
Instruments Used:
-"WELTMEISTER" upright piano (MADE IN GERMANY in 1938)
-"KAY" upright bass (MADE IN GERMANY somwhere in 1950th)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
