Essex Delta - Eclectic00
16th Jun 2007 13:03 - 19 years ago
Description : Cut-ups and found-sounds, some of which are from this site. The sloppy title refers to the blues guitar sample I've cut up but which comes to you from sunny Southend in Essex. I will contact the producer of the (less) cut up guitar phrase that opens the track and hope he doesn't mind!

Interesting. I see this piece as part of a film score, say, Terminator 4. This time Arnie comes back as a toaster on a mission to protect John Connor's electric toothbrush from a psychotic free-view set top box. The ongoing subplot develops as he generates limited emotions and makes out with a sandwich maker.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
