Description : This is the 2010 remake of my track "Open Your Eyes".
I was meaning to remake this track for ages but never got round to it until now. Had to shorten it to fit it under 8mb. Was produced using Nexus, Vanguard, Access Virus, FL9 & Adobe Audition.

Sheesh!...someone needs to throw a bucket of water on you bro! I sense mastery amongst mixing/arrangement..I'm sorry you'd probly be looking for a lil more constructive criticism but this is jus perfect..cant find anything wrong with it at all...Im really amazed that you used so many programs to create this tho..I'm looking into jumping into some others as well. If I may ask where'd you acquire the knowledge to use em? Books? or was it more of like a program in specific enabled you to jump over the learning curve with others..

Thanks for your review, I started out just using FL Studio with nothing else. It took me a good 2 years before I really got the hang of it. I mainly learned it through trial and error - but I also found that youtube is brilliant for tutorials on almost any specific subject. I came across VSTi's like Nexus & Vanguard which have some amazing sounding instruments which I use as a plug in to FL. These can be downloaded quite easily but are very large in file size. I used Adobe Audition to do some final mastering to the track. Mastering can be tricky and again comes with experience. Hope this helps! Thanks again! You might also like these tracks

In the end, it does not sound like something I've ever heard from him.

However, I like the resulting song. Hope you too. Only 1 sample was used here - Anubis-Anubis-Loop all the synth´s are played by me and i added some drumsounds with powerdrums2 played by myself Comments are sure welcome.

Description : A drum and bass, electronic something or other inspired track. The main Melodies taken from short loops I cut from some sessions my bro &e's recordings he had made at my location. I had been meaning to use his sounds for a minute and he said it would be cool. Finally did.

Description : Another attempt in my continuing efforts to learn how make a trance track. Is intended to have a vocal doing the melody. Would try to find a singer but need to work out lyrics first. For this track I tried to make the melody not too repetitive. I limited it to four bars max of the same melodic phrase.

Update: mastering and mixing redone! it should work, well hope so. Update 2: now it must work! no more compression (at leas I think), not really satisfied with the waveform, but maybe it`s okay! Thanks for the help people!

Description : Would you be at all surprised if I told you this was a Trance edit of And Then She Left Me Again? Didn't do a whole lot to it. Just changed the bpm to 138, swapped out the drums and slightly changed the drop. That's all I've had time to do since I uploaded the house/techno version.
