Description : Ok., so this is track number 2 and let me give you some background information so you don't all think I'm a total nut-job. This morning I was not feeling great, and so (quickly) took that hard decision to not go to work. Real shame and all that, but this extra and unexpected holiday allowed me some quality time with my music software. This meant that I had not planned or prepared anything, I just had the chance to sit down infront of my computer and make it make lots of noise. Wicked. Unfortunately she-who-must-be-obeyed had been watching murder she f%@$*&g wrote for most of the previous evening, and I think it injured my brain a bit. I couldn't get the theme tune out of my head, and so decide that the only way forward was to see what I could do with it... Now this is a first draft, and so may well still be a bit rough around the edges - I also know that it kind of starts off more in the genre of happy hardcore, but persevere as it does (I think) turn into quite a good trance tune! I did it entirely in Reason 4 (haven't quite got to grips with Ableton yet) I've once again failed to use any loops - even the bloody piano bit I had to play in myself - I make my life far too hard!! Description : Another attempt in my continuing efforts to learn how make a trance track. Is intended to have a vocal doing the melody. Would try to find a singer but need to work out lyrics first. For this track I tried to make the melody not too repetitive. I limited it to four bars max of the same melodic phrase.
