Description : I sang this with 2 partially collapsed lungs. So I am a little shakey. I figured I could get an honest opinion of what people think of this song here in Looperman. This song is about my wife and new baby that hasn't been born yet. I can't wait for the new edition to the family. Sometimes my wife doesn't think I am excited enough, and that is why I say "can't you see"

I agree with spyzuk there a little on the bowie style. I thought this song was very well done; especially with your health in mind. There's always going to be "things you could have done" but never mind that, for its raw talent, I give it a 10 dude!

You're talented man!! Did you use samples or did you play the synth yourself? Drum samples? Nice job dude, really!! Kinda reminds me of that Royksopp tune they use in those Geico "caveman" commercials here in the States, real mellow.

I actually played all the boards. However I did use a drum loop, I have to this point only used loops for drums. I appreciate the great review. Thank you.

The vocals to me don't sound bad and as for the instrumental of the song well that is just great.

Excellent work. This is the very first song I heard on this site (if all the songs are like this, then we have a goldmine here)! Re: the vocals: it's difficult to push hard enough to get up to pitch, but you work it to good effect; it's very sincere. Nice vocal harmonies as well.

I think if you sound this good with collapsed lungs you're a step ahead of a lot of vocalists who get played in HIGH rotation. I love your voice, it has a warm earthy feel. First off, I LOVE the arrangement and lyrics of this... and I third the demo opinion. This is awesome... I bet your wife is proud. Lisa

My wife doesnt even know this is about her and the baby. I let her listen to it when I did it and all she said was "not your best work". So, I havent told her yet.

first: that's a very very beautiful track!!!
nothing to criticize about the vocals ....
but the bassline: it consists of A-C#-G, but for my ears it should be A-C-G, correct me if I'm wrong ...
I think this would be much better, and with that change I would like to try to add some guitars if you don't mind .... just hit me up if that would be ok ...
about the synths everything has been said before: perfect!!!
    it's really a great song!!!

    peace, rei
(and thx for the kind rev ...)

The synths are sooooooooooo warm. I actually love the song, including the vocals, theyre better than any 'artist' weve got in the fucking uk.

You should send this out in a demo man.

Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening
