Soulbroken - Kinetikx
4th Jul 2009 21:52 - 17 years ago
Description : I took a 5 year break from making music. Stuff happened and I felt the need to sit down in front of the computer and make something again- This is the result. I'm basically relearning my software (Reason). The vocal (if it can be called that) was recorded with a horrible mic through a computer that can't be bothered to record at levels louder than a whisper. I had to process the hell out of it just to get it to sound as horrible as it currently does. The drum tracks are loops with my own accents added. Everything else is mine.
I've always struggled with mastering and it shows on this track. Enough whining. Listen to it already.

I can totally sympathize with you on the 'crappy mic' thing. I've had my fair share of 'em in the past.
And as Esh was sayin, I could totally see this bein like a theme song for some sci-fi show or somethin.
Heck, I've heard that they might do another GhostBusters movie, maybe you could submit this in for it's soundtrack. Yeah, it kinda has that vibe to it. Very interesting stuff mate. Later on!
