Dimension Dive - KDLproject
7th May 2009 17:19 - 17 years ago
Description : Wanted to try a more laid back dark thump track that was a musical slice of cinema, part film score-part electronic type song. This one has lots and lots of drones and feedback loops to build an almost driving pad in a way. Threw in some piano and multilayered beats... it starts out chill and halfway through breaks into a more pulsing vibe with big percussion tension...then back to chill. Thanks for checking it out, of course constructive criticism is always welcome. peace.

I almost expect to hear some old crackly recording of some random movie audio from way-back-when. Kinda done in the stylings of the Afro Samurai sndtrk. And other parts of this song leave me expecting ambient environmental sounds- Such as the warning beep of a construction vehicle backing up (heck, the entire site now that I think about it... diesel engines, earth moving, etc.). Possibly paired with some kinda vocals done in a computer voice way (like the one on the Enterprise from TNG or Hal from 2001- What are you doing Dave? Haha). Cool vibes here mate. Cheers!
