The Difference - StableD

21st Oct 2007 10:11 - 18 years ago
Description : I followed a link through a site while surfing and came across a rap battle on youtube between John Cena and 'fan'. I decided to record some of his lines and write a track. I feel real good about it because its the first track i wrote in 6/8 signature at 135bpm, i managed to include the DnB drum section near the middle of the track that by my logic works at 270bpm, also in 6/8. I hope you guys dig, and much C&C will be appreciated..!

Insanity.
C/O a song off of the album Pragmatic, by Praga Khan of Lords of Acid fame. That's the first thing that came to mind upon listening to it. Prior to the mid-line drums of a higher tempo (I think). Very cool track!

sweet loved the bassline. The drums were excellent. I don't think there wuz a need for vox at all but it still rocked. great mix. Keep it up!!

Those drums are amazing- if you made those yourself, then you have some great skill at doing that- and if you sliced up the amen break and shuffled around with it- then holy cow, I admire those slicing skills. Great use of synth and fx too. The vocal parts work great, but I'd like a version without them just as much. Great work!!
