Great feel to this, when it kicks up in the middle, its awesome, well arranged, could work on flow a little in my mind it took too long to switch sometimes but I liked the feel of it...

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Yeah Igree about the flow you mention. I may jiggle the arrangement a little eventually...Thx again for the review!

Superb Job on this track the mastering and the production are excellent all the way through.

As soon as i heard the track it immediatly reminded me of Kevin & Perry go large & my Armin Van Buuren state of trance cd from a couple of years ago, lol wicked wicked track, loved it.

Staying creative on one piece of music for over 8 min & keeping the music interesting is difficult. You did a great job on this one. I love the compressed Kik & how the bass part compliments it by being on the upbeat. Sonic candy. Thanks for post the track.

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thx for that man!!! Good to know you listened all the way thru!!!

Rorshach2021 19th Jul 2009 16:27 - 17 years ago

thx man! really apprexiATE your review!!!!

TheMightyXarumNebula 15th Jul 2009 07:13 - 17 years ago

That's pretty tricky man.Have you played it loud yet?It sounds like it would probably sound really killer through big speakers.

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

I have played it real loud in the car and it sounds awsome...which must be a good thing coz getting a mix that sounds good in the car is normally the hardest....! Thanks for the review man!

RogueAi 14th Jul 2009 05:56 - 17 years ago

Nice track, I wonder if I could have try at mastering this song. Also you can check out my track "Eternal Frequencies" if you like. Maybe we could do a collab track I use reason 4 and cubase so audio files would be fine, as long as I know the key. What do you think?

JoyfulWAVE 13th Jul 2009 21:47 - 17 years ago

nice one...good work :)

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thx man....This vsion aint mastered tho coz i am still getting the hang of it!

WhiteSands 13th Jul 2009 00:01 - 17 years ago

this one is so trancey. Just beautiful.

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thankyou for that comment. MAkes my day when i feel i have hit the right spot with a listener!

radumusteata 11th Jul 2009 12:54 - 17 years ago

Hot track.....like that bassline You Used

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks mate!!! The bassline was an arp i created from scratch! Thx again

mistersmeaner 10th Jul 2009 19:28 - 17 years ago

Good job here. Trance can easily become cheesy and this has not stepped into that area at all. A bit slower and a few less rolls, it could be very progressive too.

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

yeah thx for that. I wasn't sure about the tempo myself for a while...but i think it sounds ok the way it is...Thanks again!

StephanieKay 10th Jul 2009 16:13 - 17 years ago

Wow, this track is amazing! Very catchy! great job :)

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thankyou for the comment. I really appreciate it

Xtaticauk 9th Jul 2009 22:13 - 17 years ago

Still sounding excellent obviously when the high shelf is mastered and all the other fiddly bits are are all tweaked and mastered this track will storm forward - I will still watch this space

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thx for that man...Yeah it will sound better once fully complete...not sure where to start with this one tho...mastering aint my strong point...

ECKSjoe 9th Jul 2009 19:21 - 17 years ago

Woaaaaaaaaaaaaaah how did I miss this track?
I really do like this one, you are becoming my favourite artist on this site, everytime I hear one of your songs I'm just blown away. This one is so airy, the contrast between acoustic sounding synths and more synthetic synths works very well. I looooove the guitar style synth that comes in half way. That just blew my mind.
As always, amazing track.
Can't wait for more from you.

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thx dude! Really appreciATE YOUR COMMENT. This has been up a while but i only just finished it last night...started workin on it in april!! But due to having to get a new laptop...re install fl AND all my plugins...then i had problems with the fl file from my old hard drive....I am quite astonished i managed to finish it at all!!

Thx again buddy!

AidansTrance 9th Jul 2009 17:37 - 17 years ago

Absolutely brilliant mate, trance at it's best. Chills all over my spine!
Great job on this one...

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thx Jan! Really appreciate you takin the time to listen mate...you up for another collab then..??

bones2008 9th Jul 2009 12:14 - 17 years ago

favourite part ov track is defo the breakdown and the way you bring it back in and bring in those awesome guitar parts...could imagine early morning sun rising when this tune came on ina sunny island location...good 2 see you back in full flow your arrangements seem more clinical and purposeful...zoned in bud...less iz more and all that...keep em cumin

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thx man..really appreciate your comments and glad u like the track

Avail 9th Jul 2009 11:11 - 17 years ago

The intro is more classy now. I suggest you give up on the alt kicks in the intro tho. Squeeze the 2:00 synth more too :P The break bells need some timing adjustments too but awesome build towards the chorus, perhaps subtler drums there? Interesting lead dude lol. Portamento all the way. Crank up the delay and reverb on that so it sounds fuller tho.

Anyway, absolute trancer. I just pointed out some things i didnt like but its a top quality tune. Keep em comin

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks for your suggestions mate! Yeah I'll defo look at the levels of the lead, coz it is full....just too low in the mix. Same goes for the synth...too low again. The timing of the plucked guitar is meant to be the way it is...I know it sounds unusual though I will scan it intensley for any minor blips!! Thx aagain matey....always appreciate your feedback as it is always constuctive and helpful!

SLAPJOHNSON 9th Jul 2009 10:29 - 17 years ago

Super dooper track my man! Brilliant beat and groove construction. Your arrangements are always first class,as is you mix and production. This is a great track.

Cheers Slap...

thx slap! Always appreciate your reviews matey as you are a bit of a legend!! Thx again!

Spivkurl 20th Jun 2009 16:53 - 17 years ago

This totally belongs in a DJ set. It has a really laid back feel to it compared to much trance I've heard. The break sounds really good so far. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!

The new version sounds really, and very polished. Great work!

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

throughout the entire track, i like that alot
:)

I cant wait until you finish it. Definatley had my
pulse goin up by the break
:-p

I love that Synth! sounds great!

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thx matey....have you heard the finished version yet?

Avail 11th May 2009 12:13 - 17 years ago

Hey, just listened again. And wanted to say that the 1:50 melody comes too early you should use it in the beat drop or even break but I bet you want the break one to be "massive". It'd add great emotion to the song imo. Later

Xtaticauk 4th Apr 2009 01:14 - 17 years ago

Damn exciting this one dude - intro just prepares you for an awesome ride into trance -it was a clean production - you kept a tight grip on those high shelf sounds and eliminated any muddyness - keeping my open for the finished master piece how long have we got to wait?

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thx for that dude!! I hope to finish it within the next 2 weeks....however i am limited on time at the moment so I will be making sure i'm happy with it first...Thx again!!

Avail 1st Apr 2009 12:31 - 17 years ago

My best rack..LOL I bet this was intentional. Nice synth melody and uplifting drums man. But not epic enough. The changes come so "casually". I hope you get me

Anyway I bet you will solve it and then I will get to listen it in TATW :)

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

yeah I think so! Of course I will change and add to it, this is just the intro....Cheers man!!!

AidansTrance 31st Mar 2009 21:39 - 17 years ago

maximus2009 29th Mar 2009 23:34 - 17 years ago

Sounds good man! What are you using? I am trying to get the trance composition right at the moment and its hard to get! you seem to get it right....nice one! if you get a chance have a listen to my track gusto, see what you think.... Ta

Salkizar replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thx for that man!! I am using nexus and vec samples...pretty basic stuff really!! I have checked out your tune ands its a good one!!! Thx again and keep an eye out for the finished version of Pulse

johnnygadget 29th Mar 2009 21:47 - 17 years ago

not much of a trance fan but this was done exceptionally clean! a lot of trance to me seems dirty sounding and muddy but this was as clean as it could be nice sound!.............G.
