and you never had to graft to get to where you are, sacrifices you have had to make times you will have missed the kids and family because of performances, the bloody hard face and thick skin you have to have to survive in this industry, the empty rooms that you may off had to play in, we do all our own work because we are not good enough to have pro's do it for us and pay us, like in life you have to be in the right place at the right time, every thing in life comes with a little good fortune but bloody hard graft and talent is also needed to achieve it, so it is actually a combination of both, and tbf the cream tends to rise to the top,
to be paid to sing is an honor we would all love Manuela, you work as hard as us if not harder, with young girls and your job to juggle too, never feel you don't give as much as us, you have to deliver everytime. if i feel and read between the lines of my friends and colleagues comments that they are down, my radar goes off and i try to fill them with pride immediately, you know your special to me but i would try inspiring everyone here as I have said many times to put yourself on a pedestal is brave, to do it on a so called amateur platform as a professional is even braver because of the envious b#stards we have among us that will always wanna bite your arse, my role here is not just to bring tracks, its to inspire everyone here to be brave and be themselves first and foremost and yeah protect people from being attacked and abused there is no space for that type of behaviour
and please put a smile or a heart as a reply or dad will only shout louder, your still one of us

Oi, Manuela. Imposter syndrome is a real thing. Even in my Day job, I have felt it. (How can I be so effective when everyone else knows more than me??) So Don't sweat it. We all recognize the insane talent that you are. Embrace it. I just played this song tonight for my wife, and she loved your voice (She is trained in opera, for context). Presenting the creative things, as we do, comes with being vulnerable to strangers and friends alike. The true artist is unyielding in their vision and process. The entertainer is full of anxiety and doubt and needs that acceptance for the dopamine hit. All are normal and a part of this process we call creativity. You can either embrace that, or fear that. I have always chosen to embrace it, but I do confess to feeling a bit insecure at times, and dumbfounded by the choices the public likes vs what I think is good. So I think my advice at this time is don't sweat the small stuff so much and embrace what you like and want to hear for yourself.

Manuela your style does fit in here, you are extremely well liked, you bring soft rock, you bring French Chanson, you bring pop you bring indie and each time you bring you, you speak your mind too, and I like bluntness because you know exactly were you stand then, you are looked on with respect because you have worked inside the industry for years and many people respect your feedback in particular, the ones that don't are just envious lady that's all, and they are too weak to admit it to themselves.
I would be over-joyed for any artist in our community to get a break and become big commercially, I most certainly wouldn't feel envious, i'd be proud to call them a colleague or a friend, and i would always see the hard work and determination they put in because i know how hard constantly trying to be creative, so please less of the self doubt about you and your band, Chris (Linearfade) posted something similar recently about his work being a little dated, i jumped on him and told him similar, if two of our best singers in the community are feeling doubts only God knows how us triers feel. your listen and comments prove how much your liked, both off you just check your analytics and smile

My greatest female star. That guitar work is oout of this universe. I can imagine a live show with Manu's band and Linearfade. There would be lots of laughter, crying, hugging and lots of alcohol freely consumed.

you know over the last couple of month, i just thought theirs something here that sparkles, I've always loved you for your beautiful voice and true professionalism and we have a warm friendship, I have pointed to certain things in other track of yours recently too, it is possibly Gaby's presence that i have noticed now you mention it, and now fully integrated, that is a plus for you all, pass on my mention to Gaby, and of course I listened again to this wonderful piece and you are well aware I was born 10 mins from the sea front, I was a sea cadet and when i worked on the holiday camps, i was literately 30 seconds from the sea front, the ocean has always spoke to me, i would like to end my days by the sea front too, but not for another 10 years tho, as it is far to quiet off season for me yet, when i worked Minehead and lived there in a wood & glass chalet on the hill, with my Ex- wife, girlfriend at the time, it was right inside Exmoor, wild stags and dears were regular visitors to our gardens etc, i was on the high street, the busiest rd, it was a frosty Sunday morning, i was the only person in town, long before Sunday trading was a thing, i was going to a friends apartment, but that might just suit me in 10 year lol

loved this reworking Manuela, I can't remember the original's finish, but this sounds really polished the guitar intro is great, in fact the guitar is the stand out instrument, even tho I love the drums too, they are not over the top just a solid presence right through, and the vocal's are of course outstanding, the layout is good too with great spacing top work Angelica,

Sweet Guitar Intro, and I love the chord progressions; they are very interesting. This is a beautiful song. I grew up on Long Island, NY, always close to the Ocean. I would go to the shore when I needed some peace and comfort. My Mom & Dad used to do that as well. Subsequently, even now, I always need to live near a body of water. I am 2 minutes from the Ottawa River. This is just a well-crafted song; I tip my hat to Angelica. Bravo
