Good potential on this one. Try adding some crazy random sound fx until you find things that fit? i like the bassline, but maybe you should work on variable changes even if subtle to it. I make darkstep myself, check out, Cerebroplasti by me. I think it might give you some ideas. Good effort on the track bro. L8

a mixture at the mo cubase, mixcraft and im trying to get my head roun ableton, iv jus bought an axion 49 midi but cant find a decent program use it with, cubase is sooooo frustrating if your new to it, where can i get this logic 8 from? how is it to use? is it midi compatible?

Dj_DARKSTEPZ replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

logic 8 is the best, i think any ways,

u can buy it online or in apple stores..
and it is midi compatible, im just starting to use my midi keyboard wiv it now, and iv learned how to do certain things with it now which i will apply to my future tracks il be making as soon as i learn how to use it with logic properly.

its a good start, in my opinion you need to make it stand out more get some punchy beats in to uplift it abit, and posibly make the basslines deeper, thats what i think nway, whot program did you use to make ths btw

Dj_DARKSTEPZ replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

nice one man, apreciate the feedback!!
the beats in this is not punchy because i cut the low end off the kick 100 hz so my bass could run smooth with the kick, but because i done it on my headphones i couldnt eq properly. but il def make them more punchier when i hook the laptop to my monitors, thanks for that.

im using logic 8, wat about you?

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.
