There are so many soundsreally, a huge number of them. They sound good, of course, but the composition is quite cluttered. Perhaps the genre calls for that, but I find myself wishing for a bit of breathing room. Still, overall, its an excellent composition. I imagine the work involved was very challenging; I respect the effort put into the music.

This one was an exploratory, self imposed challenge with the aim of combining diverse influences, staying cohesive, and stepping completely out of my comfort zone. There are so many layers in this track, I would have to hear it at least 4 or 5 times to all the separate instruments their proper due. However just listening was very satisfying.

This instrumental tells a compelling story. I dont know how you did it, but those first few notes of your masterful intro perfectly capture the entire backstory. The interplay between the flute and the horn is brilliant. As far as contemplative jazz goes, it doesn't get much better than this. Well done, Mark!

That sounds absolutely fantastic again. It's all you. When I listen, I always picture a video of you playing all those instruments. That would be it! I especially love the moments when the strings come in... that's when the sound really opens up. Believe it or not... I typed this comment rhythmically to your track... I couldn't help it!

This is a classic. Every single musician who played an instrument on this one is a beast. Those sax and flute riffs and leaks are not of this world. This one is easily a timeless classic.

Every day I try to work on other projects on the back burner but this one has taken me to task. You knocked it outta the park, mister! This is like a Groove Casserole, man. It's got everything in it, cooked to perfection, and ready to serve.
Your mix is flawless in my ears. Everything sits exactly where it needs to and there's still breathing room even though the waveform is so thick.
Your profile says you play drums and keys. Are all the rest of the instruments in this track VST, or do you have other people playing on it?

The drums are superb on this. The whole song has a very infectious groove to it. Reminds me of an early Lalo Schifrin soundtrack or something along those lines. This is a really well written track with an excellent mix too. Excellent stuff.

Well you know I am a fan Mark, I simply love the music you make and of course this track is no exception! Just great, funky and super jazzy. Each instrument has a dual role, that of a member of a band and the other of a soloist. All this makes it awesome when it comes to a piece. Many bravos as always.

always a good listen Mark instruments are superb and sit together so well, there is plenty of changes, never boring, the shaker was prominent and played till just before the end, just a thought, maybe a break or two for 4-6 bars then back in, i only say this because the rest changed and it was great listening but the shaker, just made me think, i'm no jazz expert mate, your still working it and i just gave you my listen feedback, overall its a great work, i will listen to the finished product also, you know i have always enjoyed your work your a great artist, its on point and i know it will get even better
