Description : After playing live quite a few times, I thought it would be cool to record a live or unplugged album. Live turned out to be too hard, especially given the noisy pubs I often play in (there's some live videos on my YouTube though) so I've tried to record a number of songs at home as unplugged and as honest as possible.

Just me and the keyboard; no autotune, no warping, few corrections, as much as possible in one take.

Here's a first one - hope you enjoy it :)

Hi BaoBou,
This is really nice, your vocals are sounding clear, strong and dare I say, captivating! and you sing every word with conviction. Nice! delivery indeed & very much enjoyed!...BTW the lyrics are very well written. Music and vocals are a real treasure to listen to, aww, just lovely :)

Hello brother, its been awhile. Im happy to check out what you've been doin lately. The term unplugged has a special meaning to those of us who are a bit older and remember those special shows during the 90s. U used "honest" to describe the result and thats a perfect description, not just of yours but this type of work as a whole. Sounds good tho. You've done very well for yourself man.

Thank you very much buddy! Yes indeed, that's the idea. Some of these unplugged shows were actually pretty electric, but I remember them for being relatively unprocessed and unproduced, and that was always fun to listen to.
I also believe that with the advent of AI music we'll value live music and artists more :)

BB! You have upped your game! With just your piano and voice every moment of this listen was satisfying. So yep stay unplugged. Excellent mix treatment on your vocals, that move brought your inflections to the forefront. Lock that down and save the preset! Also Im tipping the piano player LOL! Nice 1 BB

Needless to say when it came out on Spotify I immediately hated it and I can't listen to it with all the issues it has, but I also know that a bit further down the road I'll be proud of it. And I've decided every album from now on should have a secret "unplugged" version of one of the tracks :)

You are a brilliant story teller. Your music evokes the singer-songwriter era of the mid 60's to mid 70's. It commands the listener's ears. I think this is one of your best pieces, yet. A Massive "Well done!".
