Description : Dance tune, however I always upload to Jazz. If you can , please help me out with what genre you think this should be. Please give it a listen and let me know your thoughts. I had a blast doing this one. It is a tempo I rarely use but thought I would give it a try.

very good man! reminds me of japanese city pop. yung bae uses a lot of samples like this. you could easily make samples for future funk!

UncleErin replied 7th Aug 2025 - 1 year ago

Ahhh. Japanese pop. Some of my favorites. YMO was a favorite. Thanks for the listen and comment. Peace UE

UE. Agreed. The first track is FIRE! But the rest takes me back to the convo we had about "commercialism". IJS. Peace.

That first track makes up for the rest although, the others are growing on me.

Kayos2 28th Jul 2025 07:48 - 1 year ago

I had to smile because this is sitting somewhere in between Use it Up and Wear it Out by Odyssey and Living Off The Wall by MJ - how many bpm is this? 120? RNB/Funk would be my logical guess - whatever, it is a brilliant track every which way

UncleErin replied 28th Jul 2025 - 1 year ago

Thanks so much for the listen. Yep it's 120bpm sweet spot. Seems the tempo to get your feet moving. Thanks for your kind words. PEACE UE

Well my opinion is you have a beautiful dance track here, with excellent, sophisticated instrumentation and great sound. Not at work these days and it has been an amazing start of the day along with some coffee.
Best regards, Anthony

UncleErin replied 28th Jul 2025 - 1 year ago

Yea I kind of figured DANCE. 120 bpm seems to scream, dance your ass off! LOL Thanks for your listen and comments . PEACE UE

kingmt77 28th Jul 2025 04:14 - 1 year ago

UE! Now you know that 4 on the floor is lethal! Yep everyone up on the dance floor! The string arrangement is definitely a way way back Time Machine. Timeless vocal arrangement. How did you get Gino V? Huh? Any way this is FIRE through and through. You did really good! Peace.

Mark

UncleErin replied 28th Jul 2025 - 1 year ago

4 on the floor man. Hard to keep your feet or a head bop still with that kick. Glad yu picked up on the 80's strings. Gloria Gaynor ...ish. The opening track on that JH album is AWESOME. Goes a bit downhill from there in my opinion but the opener......WOW
