I love the mowtowny Smokie Robinson vibe opening - you have a good, sound, track here might be tempted to add something like that bell sort of sound from 'My Simple Heart' by 3 Degrees, just an idea

Hello BadNode, I can't tell you anything about sampling methods, because I play most of my tracks "classically" by hand and use virtual drummers etc. But if the mood of a track is good, I don't care how it came about, and in your case it works great and is very catchy. Oh yes, it would be perfect for rap. Without rap I would maybe embellish it a bit here and there.

Super wide stereo on the synths, sounds great on my head phones. This has some sort of 50's vibe to me. Very cool track.

love it - a bit of lofi swing - the haltering beat is so nice and the sense of space in the mix outstanding - got to agree with Alien about the synth too

Thanks pseudoble! Super nice feed back, really glad to hear ya enjoyed it. I am a big fan of the brass(synth) sound as well. Was kind of an accident haha..
